I thought that making your own espadrilles was tricky but you get the hang of it in a short time thanks to the artisans, who were always paying attention to help us if we needed, they were supportive and a lovely bunch of people. The two hours fly by and we had lots of fun. On topm of that we even got amazing espadrilles to wear. Time well spent,will totally recommend it.

It was the perfect experience, the staff was so helpful and welcoming and had a lot of patience with us. I actually ended up buying another shoes from the shop because of how comfortable they were once i tried them! I would give more than 5 star if it’s possible. 😊

If you’re looking for a one of a kind experience in Puerto Plata, then this is it! The story telling behind the espadrilles was very interesting. You get to personalize your own espadrilles by choosing design, color and charms. The ladies hosting the workshop were super fun and did an amazing job! Don’t be afraid if you aren’t very crafty, they are very helpful through the whole experience.

This was one of the best experiences I ever had! We had two hours full of laughter, fun and knowledge, and on top of that, we got a pair of espadrilles made by ourselves! Our artisans were so great and joyful and explained everything perfectly. We even got champagne and snacks while doing the workshop. It was perfect
