The Best ATV Experience

My family and I loved everything about this tour. From the transportation to and from the port, to the actual tour itself. Our safety was made top priority and the tour guide and photographer were so friendly and felt like family. I would definitely recommend this tour without any reservations.

One of THE best and professional operations I've experienced!!! The directions from Amber Cove port were exact. You can walk. No need for taxi. The crew stands with signs denoting your name and their company. Once they gather everyone, you board a 'safari' truck, strap your seat belt in and you arrive at the facility in 7 minutes. The place is well run and organized. Never rode an ATV? No problem. They give you lesson and take a spin with you so you know how to operate it. Simply: brake and acceleration. After signing a waiver, you're fitted with a helmet. Bring a handkerchief or gator to cover moth and nose while riding. After a few more instructions, your off to your adventure. The terrain was challenging at times but these vehicles are made for that so really no issues. You will not be covered in mud cause if you speed through the many puddles the vehicle will stall. You'll get a bit muddy but from the knees down. You're then taken to a place in the countryside and experience cigars, coffee, cacao, mamajuana and souvenirs, all for purchase. Then back to home base. You can tell a lot about a place by the way their machines are serviced, maintained and run. RV Tours truly take care of their vehicles thus making them safe for us. The crew are friendly and enjoyable to talk with. One of the guys recommended a restaurant nearby and arranged transportation to and then back to cruise port. An awesome time! If you wanna get covered from head to toe, do the Buggy! You'll end up looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator. Extremely highly recommended

My husband and I had a blast ! If you are coming from Taino bay you have to walk outside the port and across the street past the circle with all the taxis. The ride was fun and adventurous with the guides taking us through all sorts of terrain. The coffee tasting was delicious and informative. We got there really early and basically had a private tour.

Rene is the most detail oriented tour operator I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Our ship changed ports and Rene went out of his way to send us detailed maps of pick up points and made sure I was clear on where I was and where I should be. He and his driver, Jonny, met us at the port, drove us to the ATV shop and got us all geared up and ready to ride. This was the kids favorite excursion on our cruise! Be ready to have fun and get dirty. Claudio was our tour guide and the kids loved him. If we are ever in DR again we will definitely book with RV Tours again!
