Overview

Follow in the footsteps of the Incas as you complete this 4-day, 3-night trek to Machu Picchu on the ancient Inca Trail. Take the most traditional approach to this famed Incan hilltop city, tracing the Vilcanota River on day one and up past the Inca site at Llactapata. On day two, clear the 13,379-foot (4,200-meter) ‘Dead Woman’s Pass’ before continuing on day three past two amazing Inca sites at Intipata and Wiñay Wayna. Wake up before dawn on day four to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu, continuing on a guided tour of the site. Your trek also features bus and train transfers, three days of meals and snacks, camping gear, and porters to carry extra baggage.
