This was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. Our guide was informative funny and friendly. We learned interesting facts about bee keeping and honey and about the production of olive oil. We then had delicious tasting of both olive oil and various honeys. In addition the views there and on the way were spectacular. Highly recommend this experience.

We had an amazing time on the Olive Oil & Honey Tour with Gianna! She was warm, knowledgeable, and personable, making the experience both fun and memorable. Super friendly staff. Nice tour around with information about making honey and olive oil. The right amount of time/not too long! Then went on to the tasting which you could take all the time you wanted, more than enough bread cheese etc to taste with and some raki on the side! You could walk around the shop but no pressure to buy anything. Would recommend!
If I could give it 10 stars I would. Girogia, our host gave us 7 different honeys + olive oil to taste with a platter of accompanying food. She then explained the process for making these products clearly. Come a bit hungry and dont sleep on the olive oil which they dont advertise that much. Store is cheaper than souvenir shops
Excellent tour! We learned about honey and olive oil production at this local farm. Tour was very informative and perfect length. The tasting was wonderful and included multiple flavors of honey, fresh cheese, bread, breadsticks, tomatoes, salted olives and yogurt. They even had pollen for us to try! Everything was delicious! We bought some honey to take back home. Highly recommend this tour!
The tour was not too long, perfect with kids. We loved the honey tasting and a sip of Rakki at the end was a nice touch.
Very good value for the money. Well worth visiting. The information about the process of growing the olives to making the oil was well presented. Also the same for the honey.

A wonderful experience! We learned so much about honeybees and olive trees. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job explaining and answering our questions about honey and olive oil. After the tour, we got to sit under the shade of olive trees and taste 8 varieties of honey along with pollen and local foods including yogurt, cheese, bread, and tomatoes. Our guide showed us which type of honey goes best with which food. Then we were free to taste test much honey as we wanted. They also gave us a bottle of raki to taste. For the price, this was money well spent for a lovely afternoon in an olive grove. They also have a shop if you want to purchase souvenirs. We would go again if we ever go back to Crete. Highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend booking this tour! The tour was given by a family member of the farm owners who explained both the beekeeping aspect and the olive farming aspect of the operation, and then explained how olive oil is made from the harvested olives. It was nice to get a smaller farm perspective on olive oil production after hearing about it on a tour at a larger operation. After the tour we were given a huge variety of honeys to try, along with olive oil, bee pollen, and olives that they produce, and a large plate of pairing options (cheeses, breads, yogurt, tomatoes, etc). We got to try everything at our leisure while sitting in a shaded and peaceful olive grove. There is a small shop where you can buy their products and ask any other questions you have. Overall a very nice tour and experience.

This tour is located in a village where all residents originally descended from the same family. The store, factory and tour are family run, with a tween kid also helping out on school break. We had a good time, enjoyed all the honey and olive oil, and came back with a ton of goodies from the store.

This was a fantastic experience that my girlfriend and I booked onto! Mariana was a brilliant host, making us feel welcome and was very engaging. The tour about the honey production and olive oil farm was very interesting and full of facts, but pitched at absolutely the right level to keep everyone engaged and deliver the right amount of information. The tasting session was excellent, with a huge variety of honeys to try as well as the local olive oil. This was then paired with different foods to deliver the best experience. Would absolutely recommend!

The tour guide was great and so funny! Explained so much and could answer all the questions. The tasting was very extensive. We got to try 8 different types of honey and some oil with bread and cheeses from the local bakery and cheese maker. It was delicious!

The tour guide is so friendly and funny. She did an amazing job explaining the process of honey and olive oil. The samples were so delicious.
We enjoyed everything about this experience, everybody was nice, it was absolutely worth it and we learned many new things About bees and olives
First the super interesting insights into bee keeping and olive oil production on Crete. Then the elaborate tasting of different honeys and olive oil. We had a very fun experience! The staff was amazing - super friendly and helpful.
The tour was excellent; she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and she answered all of our questions.
The only reason for the 4 star is that at the end for the tasting we sat at a table and they brought us the items to taste and then left us because a large group showed up. We were told nothing about any of the items and it was not as nice as it could've been. We tasted and left with no communication.
The tour was lovely she answered all of our questions on olive oil and honey production and she knew a lot of information. The tasting after was also very nice she explained every product and some pairings and then left us to try everything at our own pace. We liked the products so much we bought some to bring home. Very good quality tour and products especially for the price we payed.
Was a great opportunity to see some of the Crete countryside and visit a working family run olive oil and honey making facility. One of the first tours of the year personalized experience. Our host was extremely knowledgeable, answer all of our questions and the tasting was fantastic with many honey options to try, paired with a variety of cheeses, olives, bread and tomatoes.

Excellent presentation on bee keeping, olive trees, and olive oil production. The tasting included cheese, tomatoes, bread, and yogurt to try the oil and honey with. It was so special and delicious. The drive up to the farm was stunning.

This was one of the most memorable excursions we had on our trip. We didn’t know how to get there from the port, so we hired a taxi driver…he was unbelievably gracious (it was almost an hour to the farm) and he explained all the different fruits, nuts, and produce know to this region along the way. When we got there, Mariana, the tour guide welcomed us and gave us some of the best information you could ever know about the process of honey making! We ended our hour tour with a full belly of local produce, breads, honey, and olive oil. OUTSTANDING!

Nancy was a welcoming host and knowledgeable tour guide! We learned much about the bee and olive business and were treated to a generous taste test after the tour. All the local food paired with the honeys and olive oil was such a treat! Even my two teens loved it! Needless to say, we came home with honey and olive oil for all.😊
