This was a fantastic experience that my girlfriend and I booked onto! Mariana was a brilliant host, making us feel welcome and was very engaging. The tour about the honey production and olive oil farm was very interesting and full of facts, but pitched at absolutely the right level to keep everyone engaged and deliver the right amount of information. The tasting session was excellent, with a huge variety of honeys to try as well as the local olive oil. This was then paired with different foods to deliver the best experience. Would absolutely recommend!

The tour guide was great and so funny! Explained so much and could answer all the questions. The tasting was very extensive. We got to try 8 different types of honey and some oil with bread and cheeses from the local bakery and cheese maker. It was delicious!

First the super interesting insights into bee keeping and olive oil production on Crete. Then the elaborate tasting of different honeys and olive oil. We had a very fun experience! The staff was amazing - super friendly and helpful.

The tour was excellent; she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and she answered all of our questions.
The only reason for the 4 star is that at the end for the tasting we sat at a table and they brought us the items to taste and then left us because a large group showed up. We were told nothing about any of the items and it was not as nice as it could've been. We tasted and left with no communication.

The tasting after was also very nice she explained every product and some pairings and then left us to try everything at our own pace. We liked the products so much we bought some to bring home. Was a great opportunity to see some of the Crete countryside and visit a working family run olive oil and honey making facility. One of the first tours of the year personalized experience. Our host was extremely knowledgeable, answer all of our questions and the tasting was fantastic with many honey options to try, paired with a variety of cheeses, olives, bread and tomatoes.

Excellent presentation on bee keeping, olive trees, and olive oil production. The tasting included cheese, tomatoes, bread, and yogurt to try the oil and honey with. It was so special and delicious. The drive up to the farm was stunning.

This was one of the most memorable excursions we had on our trip. We didn’t know how to get there from the port, so we hired a taxi driver…he was unbelievably gracious (it was almost an hour to the farm) and he explained all the different fruits, nuts, and produce know to this region along the way. When we got there, Mariana, the tour guide welcomed us and gave us some of the best information you could ever know about the process of honey making! We ended our hour tour with a full belly of local produce, breads, honey, and olive oil. OUTSTANDING!

Nancy was a welcoming host and knowledgeable tour guide! We learned much about the bee and olive business and were treated to a generous taste test after the tour. All the local food paired with the honeys and olive oil was such a treat! Even my two teens loved it! Needless to say, we came home with honey and olive oil for all.😊

My friends and I already had high expectations for this tour but Mariana still managed to exceed them! She is so knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. You can tell that she loves what she does. There also is ample food/tastings at the end and it is enough for a mini meal or afternoon snack. The store is amazing too, we all splurged there. You can really tell it’s a family ordeal. Would 10000000% recommend! I came with a group of three people, so consider this review as three identical reviews!

What a lovely tour! Marianna was so knowledgeable and passionate about sharing her expertise. Great experience in the olive grove to taste fresh honey (8 different varieties) with bread, cheese and yogurt. In addition, the olive oil produced by the owner.
Also the introduction to honey production and olive harvesting and olive processing was great. You should bring English language skills.
Of course, you can also buy the presented things. All at reasonable prices.
Overall a great, relaxed event with great surroundings and atmosphere away from any mass tourism.
