    Fun Time; Excellent Meal

    NukeTim, Nov 2025
A fun time making an excellent meal. $20 taxi fare each way to get to beach club. Beach club nothing much - a little run down but quaint.

If food is your love language

Adrian, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of the traditions, the island, and the food itself. Getting to prepare the food ourselves made it very memorable and now I have a little knowledge of Mexican cooking. The fish, the ceviche, everything was delicious. And the surprise dessert along with its back story was a wonderful treat at the end! Wish we had more time to spend on the beach and in the hammocks, but felt like we were holding up the staff by sticking around. All in all, this a great tour if you love learning about culture and history, and if you love trying new foods!

    Unique Foodie Worthy Experience

We absolutely loved the organic and hands on nature of this experience. Our guide, Bernie, shared historical and geographical context as well as personal stories, that truly enriched the experience. To top it off, the meal was excellent! Danny, our Grillmaster, cooked the fish to perfection! Kudos to all of the staff for a truly unique and top notch food experience!

Adrian and his team were absolutely stellar from the minute we arrived to the moment we left! Since it was off-season, the excursion ended up just being my husband and I. Adrian and his team were so friendly, inviting, and accommodating to us the entire time. We mentioned that we had a dairy allergy and they brought us coconut meat and water at the end, otherwise the ice cream that was offered was amazingly delicious. The whole prepping and cooking experience was so relaxed and fun. We got to try sour orange and ceviche as a snack. Adrian's 20 year experience shows in how well informed he is about the island, Mayan culture and language, and cooking in general. This is probably the #1 thing to do in Cozumel!

    Great cooking experience

Adrian and his crew gave us a fantastic, small, focused experience. The food was fantastic! His knowledge of the family culture and traditions on Cozumel were great and informational.
