An unforgettable experience — a must-do tour in Costa Rica!

We (family of 4 adults) did the Doka Estate, Poás Volcano, and La Paz Waterfalls Day Tour and had an absolutely incredible experience. Our driver, Mario, made the journey feel smooth and safe the entire way. He drove at the perfect pace — quick enough to keep us on schedule but never in a way that felt unsafe. We were able to take in the scenery without feeling rushed, and his focus and professionalism behind the wheel gave us real peace of mind. Carlos, our tour guide, deserves the highest praise. He was warm, personable, and incredibly engaging from start to finish. He communicated seamlessly between English and Spanish speakers, ensuring that everyone felt included and connected. Though he may be relatively new to the tourism industry, you’d never know it — his passion for Costa Rica and its history truly shined through. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to share fun facts and cultural context added so much depth to the experience. Rain or shine, Carlos navigated us through every stop with a calm and upbeat attitude, keeping us on track even on the long drive back. He went above and beyond — offering to take photos, capturing great candid shots, and making sure we never felt rushed but always stayed on schedule. This tour was beautifully planned, and both Carlos and Mario made it a day to remember. If you have the chance to book this tour, I can’t recommend it enough — and if you get Carlos and Mario as your guide and driver, you’re in for a truly special experience.
