    This tour was the perfect way to try Sichuan hotpot for the first time! The tour guide Gabby picked a very local place and even brought her own copy of an English menu. She showed exactly how to properly prepare your dipping sauce, suggested the most common types of meat from the menu, and helped make sure everything was fully cooked safely. She also told lots of interesting stories about how hot pot originated and how it's embedded in Chengdu's local culture.
