It is 10 kilometers away from the city center and more than 30 kilometers away from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. It is a world-renowned giant panda relocation protection base, scientific research and breeding base, public education base, and educational tourism base. The base covers an area of 1000 acres. As a "ecological demonstration project for the relocation of giant pandas", it is renowned for protecting and breeding endangered wildlife unique to China, such as giant pandas and red pandas.
