I loved this tour! Judy was a wonderful guide, very kind and knowledgeable. We arrived just in time for the pandas’ breakfast, so they were very active. They are so cute! The Leshan Giant Buddha was also wonderful, and I really appreciated being able to see both sites in one day. I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour. Our guide Mark was very informative, friendly, and kept our group together. A long day but worth it to see the Giant Pandas and the Giant Buddha. Mark organised a great vegetarian meal for those who needed it - best food I’d eaten in a fortnight.

I saw both the pandas and the giant Buddha. Both were great experiences, but there is a lot of waiting involved. The bus trip to the Buddha takes over 2 hours each way, and once we arrived we queued for over an hour, as it was a busy period. Visiting Leshan and visiting the panda research base would be good day trips on their own, but if you want to see two of the most impressive attractions in Sichuan in 1 day I would recommend this tour.

Thank you for the comments, yes, we had an Autumn holiday last week in Chengdu, it caused many people to travel especially the students, so the scenic area were full of tourists, visitors had to wait in line to enter the parks. We were lucky the day was good to see the panda’s unfortunately the panda’s have to be wanted to be seen😀. Barry, our guide spoke English and communicated well but we wld have liked more specific in formation relating to the panda’s and the facility. All in all I wld recommend this tour.

It's an English guided group mixed with Europeons, Ameicans and some Asians. The tour leader Mark speaks English pretty well and makes himself understood all the way. Panda base is large and clean, very well organized too. Worth the money, good choice to travel around the city.

very nice experience, our guide Mark speaks fluent English and he knows the route to watch pandas where it is less crowded. He always took care of me on the way as I'm a senior. The ride to Leshan Buddha is pretty long but worth it, really amazing buddha statue. Mark recommended a garden restaurant serving Sichuan dishes at affordable prices , I enjoyed it very much! would definitely recommend this tour.

A slower start with some delays on setting off but was so pleased that no time was cut from our time at the pandas or the Buddha. Mark is an amazing guide and has so much knowledge on all the places visited and is an all round great guy! Lunch was an amazing experience. Not included in the price but taken to a lovely local spot which is tucked away.
