I loved this tour! Judy was a wonderful guide, very kind and knowledgeable. We arrived just in time for the pandas’ breakfast, so they were very active. They are so cute! The Leshan Giant Buddha was also wonderful, and I really appreciated being able to see both sites in one day. I highly recommend this tour!

Overall excellent tour if you are pressed for time and want to do the two activities together.
Doris and the driver were wonderful, Doris provided us with a lot of information about the Pandas and the Buddha , we didn't get to the city till 8 pm so it was a 12 hours trip to cover both locations.

In general our tour guide Doris is knowledgeable and her explanation in English is very clear and easy to understand. She also managed our group (15 pax) very well.
The only let down which was a very serious one; was the bus ride was a very unsafe.
The driver was speeding, show obvious sign of fatigue and composing text messages while the bus was traveling above 100km/hr.
He is also very impatience and using his very loud horn excessively.
For our safety we decided to abandon taking the return bus ride back to the hotel but made separate transportation arrangement ourselves.

Incredible experience! I did the half day panda tour and Mark was an excellent tour guide. He took us an excellent route which avoided a lot of crowds and had great insight into pandas. He was really helpful and kind. The tour was a once in a lifetime experience.

All day experience with pick up at hotel and drop off in the center of town. Mark was incredible and knowledgeable. He is awesome! Communication was excellent. Be prepared for a long day. Lunch was fast and food was great!

The contact with the company was excellent they contact you the day before. I asked them to pick me up and they did. The guide Claire spoke very good English and was lovely. It was a small group only 5 of us so perfect. We got great views of the pandas and the red panda too. Claire was very informative about the pandas and the panda reserve. I would recommend this trip good value for money.

Love the pandas, loved the Buddha. Had a great day with Doris who was an excellent guide and shared so much about the sights and Chengdu in general. My only regret is not having more days to stay in Chengdu.
Made the unfortunate error to go on May 1st and the sites were very busy but Doris took us to all the key locations to see the pandas, provided really good explanations (and lots of panda funfacts) and allowed us lots of time at the Buddha statue despite the early start. Long day but worth it.

I saw both the pandas and the giant Buddha. Both were great experiences, but there is a lot of waiting involved. The bus trip to the Buddha takes over 2 hours each way, and once we arrived we queued for over an hour, as it was a busy period. Visiting Leshan and visiting the panda research base would be good day trips on their own, but if you want to see two of the most impressive attractions in Sichuan in 1 day I would recommend this tour.

Thank you for the comments, yes, we had an Autumn holiday last week in Chengdu, it caused many people to travel especially the students, so the scenic area were full of tourists, visitors had to wait in line to enter the parks. Anyway, we are vey glad to know you had a good experience, appreciate your recommendation as well.
We were lucky the day was good to see the panda’s unfortunately the panda’s have to be wanted to be seen😀. Barry, our guide spoke English and communicated well but we wld have liked more specific in formation relating to the panda’s and the facility. All in all I wld recommend this tour.

It's an English guided group mixed with Europeons, Ameicans and some Asians. The tour leader Mark speaks English pretty well and makes himself understood all the way. Panda base is large and clean, very well organized too. Worth the money, good choice to travel around the city.

very nice experience, our guide Mark speaks fluent English and he knows the route to watch pandas where it is less crowded. He always took care of me on the way as I'm a senior. The ride to Leshan Buddha is pretty long but worth it, really amazing buddha statue. A slower start with some delays on setting off but was so pleased that no time was cut from our time at the pandas or the Buddha.
