Paddle into the setting sun near Cartagena during this flexible-length sunset excursion via paddleboard. Navigate your paddleboard into the water to enjoy incredible views of the setting sun. The tour started 45 min due to a guide not being ready at the scheduled time. They do provide lockers for your valuables and waterproof phone cases which was great tho. Keep in mind these cases do not float so you still have to hang onto your stuff if you fall off your board (which will happen) or you can bring your own which does.

Being in the water and the views from there. Never did get to stand up on the board was more like paddle canoeing for that would of been enjoyed more on a kayak since I never really stood up. Wasn't out on the water long either not even an hour so that was disappointing.

Gabriel was an excellent guide! He gave us proper information about the surroundings such as pickpocketing and crime areas and took care of us. The 4 islands, lunch and the sweet boat ride are things you need to experience when in Cartagena!

I was confirmed and charged for this tour but it didn’t happen. When I called to get a more exact meeting location, I was told it happened that morning though my reservation clearly stated it was a night tour. The tour operator assured me I can go the following night at the same time. So the next night, I sent a message to them to confirm the tour only to be told they had me listed as taking the tour the night before! So I reserved and wasted two nights while visiting Cartegena. If you book, be very wary and confirm, confirm, confirm!!

I had a lot of fun, but paddleboarding wasn't my favorite. However, the company that runs this tour has many activities for you to choose from and they are very accommodating. They also have a beach club for you to get away from the vendors on the public beach.

Not exactly a sunset paddle but fun anyway

The best part of this tour was our guide. His personality just made it easy for us to have fun and enjoy. I was somewhat disappointed that the write up indicated it would be a sunset paddle but it turned out it was structly timed to an hour and since the last allotted time was 4pm, we didn’t quite paddle through sunset. Facilities were good with lockers and a rinsing area.

We had so much fun. The trip was beautiful. The guide was fun abs great with us even though we didn’t speak Spanish. One of our children paddled himself and the other sat on our board. The only thing that would have made it better is if all the boards had coloured lights like in the pictures. It seemed like only 3/10 of the boards in our group had small flashlights on the bottom.

Amazing experience, you must do it...

Amazing experience, you must do it! But be prepare to get an upper body workout. It gets chilly once the sun sets but the scenery is beautiful, it's not as intimidating as it seems. Andrey, our instructor, is really patient and sweet and also speaks some English. Make sure to bring a change of clothes, a towel and some flip flops so you can change after you're done paddle boarding as it will be dark and cooler. Although it's not required we tipped Andrey because he really did a great job explaining how to use the boards and paddles, talking to us and giving us some info about Cartagena once we were out in the ocean, and most importantly making us feel safe. Note: unless you have a water resistant case/bag that you plan on taking with you in the ocean everything else will be left back at the shack so don't bring anything of value. Unless you have really bad balance or you try standing up on the paddle, more than likely you won't fall and get wet, but still, don't risk your phone getting drenched.

Great experience. The guys are all really welcoming and friendly, Camillo took us through a quick lesson on what to do and what not to do. We then went out for some practice during sunset. They took my gopro for me and took photos along the way they even took some of photos with their iphone which they later sent us via whatsapp which was brilliant. Great value for money and a really run and different experience.

Must do experience in Cartagena. The staff at Windspot in Boca Grande were really great. We met at 5 PM to begin a 30 minute group lesson before hitting the water. Following the lesson, we paddleboarded in the shallow waters of the bay as the sun set. When it became dark enough, the guys turned on the LED lights, which were beautiful. We had some mechanical issues with the LED lights, but the guys were great at making sure everything worked. My friend got a little freaked out about paddleboarding in the evening, but the guys were so attentive in reassuring her that they wouldn't lose her! The fish were attracted to the LED lights and in the crystal clear waters we saw beautiful schools of fish and jellyfish. I will never forget this experience. Thank you Windspot!

The sunset LED paddle board tour was a fantastic experience! My three friends and I were first-time paddle boarders, and we got plenty of training before we set out. The group was small 6 people plus a guide and our guide was friendly and fun. Highly recommend!

I had an unbelievable experience on this tour. The view of the sunset was spectacular and the LED lights against the water after it got dark were beautiful. I went solo on my trip to Cartagena and Armando, the instructor, made it a welcoming,unique, and unforgettable experience. If you get there earlier, you can get to know El Laguito area, walk along the beach, and watch the sun slowly begin its descent before paddle boarding! I highly recommend this tour!

It was a really cool experience! We swam pretty far into the water and had an amazing view of the city skyline. It was my first time paddle boarding and I was able to pretty much get the hang of it, although I was sitting most of the time, not standing. Overall it was fun and something different!
