I had a great time surfing in Cartagena. My instructor, Sebastian, was very helpful in giving advice as well as patient in helping me to get up on the board and surfing the waves. I was able to get up relatively quickly and tried to apply all the advice he gave to improve my technique. Surfing is really fun and this company and the instructor were great!

Highly recommend the class with Pablo. It was the first surfing experience for my son and he really enjoyed it. At the beginning they practiced standing up on the suspended board in the shop. Everyone had his/her own instructor in the sea. We’ve received the photos within a day.

My kids loved the private lessons. They were very polite and informative. The lesson was taught with a great focus on surfing and the kids individual skills. After 1.5 hours my kids felt more confident.

Perfect for First Time Surfer

I had never been on a surf board in my life, and my instructor Pablo taught me everything I needed to know! It was a 90 min one on one lesson where he stayed close by me and my board in the water the entire session. It was actually really great that he stayed close because the help navigating the waters helped me to not fatigue as quickly and I could focus on the surfing itself. After every attempt, he gave me small pointers that I could work on for my next wave. He helped me pick the right waves and would tell me exactly when to paddle and to stand up. As a first time surfer, I was up and riding the waves to shore within my first few attempts. Pablo is a professional surfer himself and was great at teaching. I can't thank him and recommend Poly Surf School enough!

Pablo and Erick are amazing! Erick's tips were helpful and I felt myself getting better and more comfortable in the water. The surfboard "simulator" was cool too. I would definitely do it again!

Catching waves with the fam! Five stars!

JP was an amazing instructor and great with kids. Hollywood Beach was perfect for beginners and children. Small rollers with a sand bottom. My kids had an absolute blast and all of them caught a lot of waves. The instruction and the location could not have been better. The only thing we struggled with was finding the surf school. There wasn’t a blue tent on the beach per the instructions but they have a physical location at the far side of Hollywood. Hollywood is pretty much divided into two beaches with a rock wall so it can be misleading and the vendors are aggressive trying to guide you for tips. Head as far as you can go south and they have a storefront on the left. Once we found it, it was fantastic! That was a minor inconvenience and the day was so great, it didn’t take away from it. 5 stars all around.

Nonostante fosse la mia prima lezione di surf, mi sono divertito molto: l'istruttore mi ha dato delle indicazioni chiare e mi ha fatto subito praticare in acqua; poi mi ha fatto riprovare la tecnica di base (quella in cui ci si alza in piedi sulla tavola) più volte dandomi ogni volta preziosi consigli. Alla fine della lezione mi è stato chiesto in dettaglio come fosse andata e se avessi qualche dubbio. Ambiente professionale e stimolante, lo consiglio vivamente!💪🏼 Per quanto riguarda il prezzo, mi ha dato l'impressione di essere un po' alto per la Colombia.
