Peaceful & Fun Paddle Boarding in Cartagena

Paddle boarding in Cartagena was such a fun and relaxing experience. The water was calm, the views were beautiful, and it was the perfect balance of adventure and peace. The guides were friendly and patient, making sure everyone felt comfortable even if it was their first time. It’s a great way to enjoy the ocean while also getting in a little workout. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add something unique to their trip.

We had an amazing time here! We were treated very well and our tour guides were very accommodating. Being in the water during sunset was very calming. We stopped paddling for a bit just to enjoy the scenery. This was a 10/10 experience.

I had a great time. Manuel was a great coach - very patient with me as it was my first go at paddleboarding. You can really tell he loves what he does and is great doing it. Such a hard worker!

Shout out to Manuel for being so sweet, helpful and caring and patient. Did an amazing job with my group of all girls/women. It was super fun and we enjoyed the time learning to paddle surf. 10/10 recommend! Gracias a Manuel, fue tan amable, cariñoso, y muy servicioso. Manuel and Andy were awesome and the sunset over the water was beautiful. Manuel is a very friendly, patient and helpful instructor. Andy was very knowledgeable on the history of Cartagena and has great recommendations for current events and activities.

There was suppose to be a English speaking tour guide and one was not provided which made it challenging for indidviduals who knows basic Spanish. We did not understand the safety instructions.Also, the life jackets were defective they either did not clip or was missing a zipper which in return they tied the jackets in knots where the vest should of clipped or zipped. Also, I feel like I’m the beginning before we drifted out that there should have been time to practice how to get on and off the board instead of figuring it out in the middle of the ocean because it was extremely challenging to get on the board and fighting waves.

What a fun afternoon, with the grand finale of a spectacular sunset! The two instructors were fantastic and it was such an enjoyable experience which I would highly recommend. (NB: We didn’t use the lights, which weren’t of interest to me- I was there for the activity and sunset- but you may want to check before going if that’s something that’s important to you.) I would definitely go and do this again if I had more time!

Closed, No signs, No answers

It was closed. Nobody was there. I was there after 11am. There is no sign of SUP Cartagena. One of the beach boys said it will be open in one hour. Hello colombia! After a message to viator they replied sorry maybe later or tomorrow... next day I sent whatsapp, tried to call. No answer. It’s a scam?

Great equipment available and Diego was incredibly patient and came out with me to get me started not expected by me as I just booked an hour without a lesson. If you are a novice like me, wear shorts! The sea can be pretty choppy so try to choose a day when it's not too windy if you're not an expert. Great hour of trial and error but I really wish I had worn shorts!!! o
