Well organized, clean, and methodic process, from start to finish. A wonderful activity to learn and have fun. The kitchen has good air conditioning in case people feel it will be too warm to be cooking in a warm climate.

I had such a wonderful time at the cooking class, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Astrid and Danna were fantastic instructors who made learning a traditional Colombian dish both fun and engaging. The atmosphere was festive, welcoming, and full of great energy. The meal we prepared was absolutely delicious and a highlight of the experience. I will definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a memorable and flavorful holiday activity.

Loved everything about this cooking class. The instructor herself didn't speak English but had a very, very energetic and excited translator. I truly felt like I was cooking from a family recipe book with my auntie that had all the pleasant vibes and fun. This was definitely a very hands-on, cook your own meal. During the cooking and instructions you were able to order drinks that were amazing from the restaurant.. Once everything was cooked, your food was plated and brought to you where you sat and enjoyed it together as a class.

Lot of fun, local instructors in a local restaurant. We were able to walk to the restaurant from our hotel. Got there on time and the class started soon after it was proximately two hours and We got to eat what we prepared.

The class was a great experience! My girlfriend and I ordered a jar of sangria which was fantastic and kept us social while we met other folks in the class. The chef led the cooking and the sous chef translated to English. The food came out great and it was a lot of fun!

This class was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun dancing and cooking. The translator Donna and the chef were very sweet! This was one of our favorite activities of the entire trip. I highly recommend you do it! The traditional food we cooked was delicious and were easy to follow along. I also like that they give you access to all the recipes. In addition, you can’t beat the price.

We had a little mixup at the beginning of our class and thought we weren't going to be able to participate but they were able to make everything work and we are so glad they did! We made about five different dishes and got access to the recipes to try at home. We danced and taste tested throughout the process and everyone was friendly and upbeat. Would do again!

Class time was adjusted from 3:30 to 7:30. That worked better for us. Then about 4pm, the class got cancelled with no option to reschedule. We were not able to book any other tour because the cancellation was so last second.

I was traveling solo when I booked this class! There were 7 other people who took the class and it was such a fun group! Our chef Astrid and Dana who helped interpret for those that didn’t speak English were absolutely marvelous. There were many laughs, dancing and good company that made the cooking experience so enjoyable! They also sent the recipes of everything that we made afterwards so that we could make it back home for our friends & family. Would definitely take it again if I was ever back in Cartagena!

We truly enjoyed this event. It provided wonderful insight into the culture and preparation of Cartagena specialities -- coconut rice, patacones, beef empanadas and fish (or chicken). All steps were explained and demonstrated, and then we each made (or helped make) all of the items. A translator communicated with us in English and both she and the chef were charming and fun. The kitchen was spotless and air conditioned, and had plenty of room for students to both see and fully participate. We had only six students in our class, and we were told their maximum is eight.
