It was too expensive for the fact that we had to wait 2 hours at the airport and the drive took longer than anticipated. It got us where we needed to go but the experience wasn’t good.

The pick from the airport was great they communicated with me up until but I ordered a to and from deal and they forgot to schedule my pick up from the hotel on top of that they were late picking me up... nevertheless I was in communication with someone on whatsapp about my pick up...

The worst shuttle experience I’ve ever had. I did not know that it was a community shuttle and was boarded with over 6 other parties getting dropped off at different resorts from Cancun airport. We finally left the airport after 6pm and I was the last to be dropped off after 9p. The young driver did not seem to know where he was dropping me off and we had a to ask security in another unit for directions and then called back to headquarters for further directions. The driver also spoke no English which made the experience even more difficult for the both of us as a solo rider. Luckily I was able to get a ride back with a different company because I could not do this again. Only book with them if you have time to waste on your vacation.

Waited an hour and a half for van to arrive after we landed on the way to our hotel. Then no communication regarding getting back to the airport. No responses to my messages and unable to confirm pickup time. Currently still at our hotel awaiting confirmation they are coming at all.

Our transportation arrived to get us 2 hrs late from the original time that I had scheduled it for. Then between making 4 other stops to drop others off to their hotels, I didn’t make it to my hotel until 9pm, yet I had landed at 3. Definitely will be booking private transportation from now on.

When I booked this transportation service days in advance, I was told to input the address to our drop off and pickup point. This was group transportation from Cancun airport to Tulum. Our driver and group was awesome but what was supposed to take 2 hours actually took 5. Our driver did not have the addresses to our destinations. We ended up passing our stop and another couple's multiple times. It would have been convenient if the GPS was routed based on the distance from each drop off regardless of who booked the ride first. My flight landed at 2:23pm and I didn't get to my room until 8pm. Very disappointed. I was upset because I prepaid for the service. While waiting at the airport I was tempted to take an individual taxi and I honestly should have. We still tipped our driver $20 for his frustration. I don't think it was him. The company is in charge of things. Organization and timelines is everything.

Extremely unorganized. Booked a round trip from Cancun to Tulum. The day before leaving Tulum, the company sent us a text message providing that would not be able to pick us up until 8am even though our flight was at 10am and it takes 2 hours to get to Cancun. They insisted that we pay an additional $68. We went back and forth for hours trying to get them to understand how they were dishonoring their services. We eventually had to pay for another Taxi so that we could ensure we would not miss our flight. This is an abbreviated story it was so much chaos just save yourself the time and get a rental car

Very scary. The driver was given the WRONG INFORMATION about my hotel, even though I communicated it clearly in advance. We went 20 minutes past my hotel before he asked me where it was🤦🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️. By the time I finally showed up to my room everything had closed and I could not get dinner 😩

Great service. Would highly recommend. Id arrived into Cancun 1.5 hours before my scheduled pick up so i called by chance to see if i could get an earlier pick up. This was no problem for Yamevi travel. I had a smooth ride to my accomadation.
As a solo female traveller, i was concious of picking the right company and i was lucky to get Yamevi. Not only are they competive in price (by far the best), they are also polite and accomadating.
Would 110% definitely use them again.

My flight was delayed by two hours. I called Yamevi Travel asap. The gentleman answered immediately and was very accommodating with my situation. We texted back & forth after that with the updated details.
When I landed and went to the open area the driver assistant in his red shirt was there looking for me! My name was printed clearly on his sign. I was greatly relieved!
Antonio was the driver and was excellent. There was only one other passenger going to Playa Del Carmen and I to Tulum. We talked the whole time! At Playa she was not at the exact spot. Antonio knew very little English. I found a random person and Antonio took her to the exact spot safely without issue. It was only two short blocks away.
Then he drove me another half hour to Tulum right to my Hostel’s door.
I highly recommend this service! You don’t have to pay some high priced private company. Also, book in advance. When you’re exiting the airport all the taxi companies want your business and yell out to you. That’s expected. It’s comforting to know that you’re all set.
As to renting a car… I seriously contemplated it but chose not to. The roads are great but leave the driving to those who know where they’re going. Riding along and after the flight I relaxed and didn’t worry about turns or motorcycles or anything really.
I only had one other passenger, it wasn’t like waiting for ten other people.
I paid $27, made a great friend in that passenger, gave a $4 tip and got to Tulum safely. The van was spotless and modern.

Great transportation service at the best price! This was my first time in Cancun and I definitely recommend this transportation to anybody who needs safe and reliable service. The staff is great at coordinating pick up. They hold a sign with your name on it so it's easy for you to find them. Also, they communicate with you to advise where to meet and the drivers are nice. I used Yamevi Transportation through Viator twice during my stay in Cancun and both times were great!

We booked a time for 7pm. We waited until 8pm then no one came so our driver tried to hustle us saying he will direct transfer us for an extra $40 U.S. dollars when no one was there. We told him it’s okay we don’t mind having other people in the car hit he kept saying he will direct transfer us for 30-40 dollars. When we kept saying no he got mad and shut the door and drove off. It was an odd experience. We always tip anyways but this driver wanted to double our fare.

They did an excellent job accommodating my needs. When i couldn't find the driver, I called the number and the driver was sent to me instead. For our departure, we requested a private transfer, and that is exactly what we got. The van was clean, and air-conditioned. The drivers were courteous and friendly. This is very important since the drive to TULUM is approx 2 hours. I would definitely recommend, and will definitely use you guys in the future. Thanks for making my vacation stress free!

While I had to wait about an hour before the rest of the group arrived (this is a collectivo), this was the only negative, and since I paid about 25% of what a private transfer would cost, it’s definitely worth it if you aren’t on a strict schedule! All Yamevi employees were friendly and helpful, so I booked my return trip with them as well!
