I had booked what I thought was a van to transport my family of 7 people. Our vacation pkg with Westjet included transfer from cancun airport to sandos by bus but we decided to go with a smaller vehicle hence the booking of the van. I assumed shared transport meant shared by 7 people and perhaps 2 more others. When we got to the Viator (nexus) checkin we were told that we would be travelling by bus and that my booking (shared) meant that it could be van or bus depending on number of people. Therefore I paid for something that was already included. I still do not know what happened. I do not know what will happen when it is time to return.

Nexus Tours Shared Trip From Cancun Airport To Hotel

Shared trip from airport to hotel was affordable and seamless. Nexus tours had agents with easily recognizable orange uniforms waiting at airport exit. I waited for about 10 minutes. Our ride was a Mercedes Sprinter. It was clean and very comfortable. I had two other companions. Our driver was very professional and friendly. The trip took about 40 minutes.

Please do not book with this company. When you are making your reservation, it ask you for pick up times as if it will pick You up when you want , but they will not. They will put you on an early schedule that is hours before your flight! And then say that you are canceling when in fact they cannot come to get you. Please do not book with them , the customer service is bad and they don’t care

I messaged to pick me up at 6:30am. I didn't hear back from anyone. The next morning they get to my hotel at 5:30am. The hotel manager came to my room and told me I had 10 mins to catch the shuttle. I packed everything up and by the time I got down to the lobby, the shuttle was gone.

By far the best way to get from the Cancun airport to your hotel or Air B&B. The shuttle service was timely, efficient and cost-effective. A taxi would have charged us at least double the amount, whereas this was securely done for a fraction of the price. Excellent service and excellent drivers.

The Nexus driver and officer were nice & helpful, however, Viator hasn’t processed my booking with them and I had to wait an hour extra to get the shuttle. I am very dissatisfied with Viator booking sadly, wouldn’t recommend. Nexus are great though!

I was kind of skeptical reading bad things about how people had to wait for the drivers or nobody showed up. But our experience was great! We had our transportation booked with Nexus tours and they were waiting outside the arrivals gate for us. The airport officials knew them so it was easy to spot them. The guys were very cordial and welcoming we were on our way to our hotel in just minutes after landing. We had booked a round trip with them. We called a day ago to confirm pick up time and the driver was right on time and the ride was very smooth.

Not reliable, poor communication

I booked round trip airport transfer here, called the day before to confirm pick up location and time on the day of leaving for airport, since our resort has multiple lobbies. But the van went to the wrong lobby, and left without us, neither did they even try contacting us. We called the company after waited almost 20mins over the scheduled pickup time, only to be told they can’t do anything there was no other van. We were left with only choice to take a cab out of our own pocket to not miss our flight.
