Prompt and easy to work with. Good communication, I appreciated that they don’t suggest picking you up 3 hours before your flight. Spending more time at the resort is always better than the airport.

Lack of communication

My ride from my hotel to the airport was just the opposite of when I arrived in Cancun. Zero communication! The app had me put in my airline departure information, but I never received a time that I would be picked up. I attempted three different times to contact someone and ask about my pickup. I finally received an answer the day before departure that it would be 1:00 p.m. I responded back to them that I was concerned that that was not enough time. Just as I feared we barely made our flight because of traffic, and because of the unusually long line at security. We literally ran up to our gate as it was boarding, after running through the airport. I was disappointed after being very impressed with your service on my arrival.

The transport company was first class, but a huge miss from Viator. The night before my transfer I noticed no pick up time was on the voucher I printed before the trip. I tried to check on viator with the link they sent and found their system showed I had no active trips upcoming. Phone communication is not possible outside US (800 #s only work in the US) so had to "chat with Viator" and it took them a long time to find I actually did have a reserved transfer. They could not get it to show and put a pick up time in the chat, but as I was typing back a question they decided to end the chat. Since I did not trust Viator to be telling me the facts I sent a Whats App message to the transfer company and when they opened in the morning they quickly confirmed they had my transfer and the CORRECT pick up time - Viator had it wrong and if I had believed the chat I would have missed it. Great on the transfer company, bug miss for Viator.

They are not reliable. They contacted me the time they were supposed to be there to say were going to be late. They hadn’t even left their facility to pick us up at the time of contact. I had to scramble to find a cab to get us so we wouldn’t miss our flight.

Great service from the initial online contact; and highly recommends this company! They were responsive, and made it very easy to book the transportation from the hotel to the airport in Cancun. They contacted us the day before pick up and clarified the meeting place and time; and importantly, Michel was there a few minutes early to pick us up. He spoke very little English but his friendliness and professionalism made it easy to communicate with him. Despite some initial hesitation and concerns about the reliability of services such as this, we were very pleased to have chosen Viator, they were excellent, and we will definitely use them on our next trip.
