Arrival at the airport: When you arrive at the airport, after picking up your luggage, head to the Arrivals Hall to meet one of our representatives. They'll be ready to greet you, holding a blue sign with the eTransfers logo. It's important to have your confirmation email with your booking details and an ID handy to help us locate the van that will take you. If you don't spot the representative with the blue sign, don't worry. You can go to the designated meeting points in the different terminals. Departure from the hotel: One day before your return trip we will send your booking confirmation to the contact information you provide, to remind you of the time the driver will pick you up at the lobby of the hotel where you are staying. We recommend you to be ready a few minutes before the appointed time, as the driver is only allowed to wait 10 minutes at the meeting point.

What To Expect

Your private transfer begins with pickup at the time you indicate from the Cancun airport or your Cancun hotel. Your driver will meet you at the designated meeting point inside the arrival terminal or the lobby of your hotel, then assist you in loading your bags and help you get settled on board your private air-conditioned vehicle.

Once you are ready to depart, your driver will take you directly to your final destination, including any Cancun hotel or the Cancun airport. You’ll be dropped just outside the hotel lobby or the departures terminal and your driver will help you unload your bags for stress-free logistics.

Hotel transfer

Our flight was cancelled due to bad weather and I messaged the company multiple times to reschedule. No response from them. They have poor communication in Cancun. And they are refusing my refund because I had to get an company for hotel transfer the following day

We booked this through Viator and when we got to the airport, we were to look for a sign with our name and someone in an “eTransfers” sign/ shirt. We looked for an hour and there were no signs with our name and we talked to 3 different people who worked for eTransfers and they all had no idea where our ride was and couldn’t connect us with one. We called Viator twice and they couldn’t get ahold of our driver either. At the resort, concierge called and they said they couldn’t find us, but they would still be there for the transfer back to the airport in a few days. They never came to the resort for that transfer either. The only good thing was they gave a full refund.

Fraud Alert

They company did not have our reservation. We didnt get picked up. Instead we got treated very poorly by the etransfers company. The 2 men ignored us and was talking badly about us, they just didnt know I am fluent in Spanish. Booking this reservation was fraud and I am still fighting to get my money back. I called customer service and no one picked up. Its 2 days later and still no response!!! This was a terrible experience and if I wasn't savy I would have been stuck at the airport. No one wants to fly into a new place and be lost. Unacceptable! Next time pls have a customer service line that works and when you confirm the reservation, it is real. I have had some Viator experiences that were good, however this particular one is a scam.

We never got to use them. I was trying to verify pick up time the Wednesday before to no response until evening of day before. The day of, our flight got delayed and I immediately asked if we can change pick up time to about 30 or so minutes later. I was told that if we would have told them 2 hours prior they could possibly change time and I told them we just got notification So I notified them immediately. I was told well that's your airlines fault. That is very bad customer service. That's now how you speak to others. That left a bad taste in my mouth so we did not meet them. Do better. Treat people better. I would have totally understood if the approach was different.

Poor communication between viator and the transfer company

E-transfers not a reliable transfer service. It took 2.5 hours waiting at the airport to bring us to our travel address. They were not aware of any details of my reservation even though I reached out the week prior to travel. They did not reply to the only way to communicate with them under viator’s “message the host.” When we contacted viator, they were unable to reach them while we waited at the airport for 2.5 hours, not even sure if they were coming. There seems to be lack of communication with booking agency (viator) and the transfer company. The price also changed and we owed more money as they said we booked the “Cancun hotel zone” and we were travelling to tulum. Even though I put tulum and my exact address when booking. For the way returning home to the airport they were on time and aware of all our details so not sure what happened with initial booking. The driver was friendly and very professional.

Our driver was very nice and made our trip to the hotel pleasant. However, when I booked online the shuttle i paid 91 usd; from the airport to costa mujeres, which I thought it was a decent price round trip for two of us. A day before the actual trip, I received a text that because of the location from the airport to my destination I must pay an additional 1,480 mx cash upon arrival. That made me very uncomfortable but I accepted. When we arrived, we look for our transfer so I texted them about the location and how the unit looks like but the asked me to take a selfie to identify me. So I proceeded with the selfie and someone call us and showed us my picture and escort us to.the Taxi location. WRONG! We waited about 40 minutes and then finally I text them about what happened. Their response was “one moment please” I got frustrated. Finally, someone from eTransfers showed up and scooted us to a different location where originally we were supposed to meet. I feel unsafe sending a selfie.

I had put all the details of my trip on the booking, I communicated with the business leading up to my trip I got no response and then when it was time to be picked up they wanted to add another $18 to my booking and had to wait another 15 mins. I went with another company and asked for my booking to refunded.

TERRIBLE....DO NOT USE.....when we did the initial booking we entered the hotel where we were staying...the day of they wrote and said it would be an additional 44$ cash....after that....THEY DID NOT SHOW.....Thankful that Viator stepped in. and helped us...and requested refund

After arriving at the airport in Cancun from a 4 hour flight we paid in advance for a private transfer to a RIU resort round trip we were directed to an E-Transfer agent who told us we could share a transfer with someone or it would be 1 hour and 40 mins at least to get a private transfer they advertised someone would be waiting with a sign with our name and your wait would not be more than 15 mins on average that they watch your flight to see when you arrive not so we needed food for health reasons and opted for a taxi ride that cost $50.00 I attempted to ask for a partial refund and was told it was pending after contacting Michelle in customer service I was told we would be pick up at 9:35 am on our departing date in a E-mail from our resort not so 9:35am I was on the phone with customer service who put me on hold for 10 mins and came back and said our transfer was pending a refund and hung up on me we had to get a uber to the airport I am still trying to seek a refund with no luck so far I will probably have to contact the better business bureau to get any results do yourself and your family a favor seek other transportation

Terrible experience! Spent hours trying to reach customer service about an issue with my booking with no help. Then upon arriving to Cancun was I formed that I had to pay additional $90 USD because their system allowed my reservation to go through, despite it not being a hotel that was serviced for what I purchased. It was a complete disaster and we wasted over an hour at airport on our anniversary

Cancun trip/ Upon arrival, we were able to find the representative- he told us that our driver was running behind by 10-15 mins. Well that 10-15 minutes turned out to be… The driver never showed up! He then went on to indicate to us that I don’t have a driver for you. He continued to send text messages to what he indicated was his supervisor and said they said there on the way and would be there in another 10 minutes, by that time it was an hour and a half later and we ended up booking another transport company… I thought this was going to be a smooth experience the communication was there and confirmation from the company the night before we left.

Not worth the headache

After this company tried to extort me for more money, the driver never came to pick us up. The representative called multiple times, no answer. I called multiple times, no answer. I tried to get a refund, it meant work. I had to pay additional cost for another company to transport us. Not worth the headache. Use “happy shuttle” instead.
