Really good guide whose name is Mohammad. He was the manager of one of the pyramid so has great knowledge. I got the lunch as well which was amazing. A full meal, not a roll or something. The view for lunch was the Pyramids.

The trip was fabulous very well organised .skipping all the queuing the driver Joe very prompt really friendly. Picked me up and dropped me of at cairo airport and the private representative the star of the show jermin was amazing new everything the launch also really lovley on rooftop restaurant over looking the pyramids what more do you want .terminal again thank you for a memorable day I'll never forget cheers Joe all the best mate

Skip lunch and camels!!

A tough review to write because so much of this experience was excellent. Our guide Sayed was exceptional. A true scholar who brought the Pyramids to life with depth warmth and intelligence. He answered every question thoughtfully and shared local views current issues and even stories about the Jin which was fascinating and something you would never get from a guidebook. Nothing was too much trouble and he was genuinely accommodating throughout. Our driver was also excellent. Everything ran very smoothly and we felt well looked after from start to finish. We chose a very early start which I would strongly recommend. We skipped all the queues which made a huge difference and allowed us to enjoy the site in peace. The only reason I cannot give five stars is the lunch stop. The restaurant was not within the pyramid compound but just outside. I was also surprised to be told that even a Coke and water were not included. My advice would be to go early and skip both the camels and the lunch. You can easily purchase camel rides inside the complex and choose your own restaurant afterwards which gives you far more control over the experience.

It is also mentioned that lunch is served at a restaurant with a panoramic view of the Pyramids, not inside the archaeological compound.
