If you're planning a trip to Cairo/ Giza and want an unforgettable experience THIS IS FOR YOU: I can't recommend George; the Egyptologist tour guide highly enough! I only had one full day in Cairo, but George made every moment count with his unparalleled knowledge of the pyramids and archaeological sites—seriously, a 10/10 on that front. His explanations brought ancient history to life in such a captivating way, and his passion for Egypt's rich heritage was contagious. Not only is George incredibly informative, but he's also one of the most patient, funny, and warm guides I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. We covered so many iconic sites and just when I thought the day couldn't get any better; George surprised me with a secret location that made the whole experience even more special—something I'll treasure for years to come! In just eight hours, I not only explored the wonders of ancient Egypt but also picked up some phrases in Arabic and Egyptian, which was such a fun bonus. George (Yes There Are 2 George’s); my personal professional photographer and driver! George’s photography skills are absolutely impeccable—he knows all the best spots to capture stunning photos and is a master at finding the perfect angles. George also has an incredible eye for detail, which really shows in his work. You can tell just how much he loves what he does, and his passion shines through in every shot. George made the entire experience so much fun with his great sense of humor and clear direction, which made me feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. George went above and beyond by taking videos and behind-the-scenes photos, which was such a fantastic bonus! Now, I will not only have beautiful photos but also candid moments that I’ll treasure forever. As a driver, George was equally fantastic. I felt safe the entire time, and with the 35+ degree heat in Cairo (much hotter than I’m used to back in England!), the air conditioning in the car was always on, making it super comfortable between locations. Nothing was ever too much for George—he truly went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Finding someone like George who balances incredible photography, safe driving and a welcoming personality is rare. Farg and his 7 year old camel Casanova were amazing! Farg is such a warm & friendly soul. Casanova was well-trained and Farg clearly cares for his beautiful animal. Riding Casanova through the desert with the pyramids as a backdrop was magical, and Farg went out of his way to ensure I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. He also shared interesting tidbits about the area and took some videos of me and George doing our photoshoot —memories I’ll cherish forever. As a young solo female traveler, it’s rare to come across a company that makes you feel as comfortable and safe as I did today. From start to finish, the day was nothing but pure joy! There were no awkward silences or moments of discomfort—just a seamless, fun-filled experience. Thank you George, George & Farg (inc. Casanova the camel) for an amazing day. From start to finish was nothing short of excellent. I have truly walked away with core memories that I’ll hold onto forever. It’s Never Goodbye; It’s until we meet again.
