We had a great trip with Ali! It is a long drive from Cairo but we had a great day. Ali was very friendly, chatty and kind and made so much effort to make sure we had the best day. He mentioned you can stay over in the desert and do the trip over 2 days which could be a good option if you have the time. Would 100% recommend this day trip though, the scenes are amazing and you can’t quite believe what you’re seeing. Thanks again Ali!

The breakfast announced bedoin was just a bottle of water and a snack, the same for snacks during the day. The tour of the black desert was extremely shortened, we only visited for 10 minutes, time to take some pictures. My partner asked the guide if there were plans to make any more stops in the black desert. She told us she did, and ultimately none. The meal was good, but shipped in 20 minutes. We were not able to enjoy this moment properly. The guide gave us a quick presentation on Egypt at the beginning of the day. We have only had very brief explanations about the natural phenomena, etc., that caused the crystals, ... in the different deserts. We returned to the hotel 2 HOURS earlier than scheduled! This is very disappointing, as we did not spend much time in every point of interest, especially the black desert, given the price paid (300€ to two). One very important point to highlight: the driver of the jeep (4x4) for driving in the different deserts was great. He was nice, kind, worried that we would have a good time. We enjoyed the “rally” in the dunes and the descent with the board in the sand. The car driver who brought us and brought us back to the hotel (4h trip) had good driving.
