Great option for layover if you don’t time enough time in Cairo

I went to the museum the pyramid very smoothly. The guide Mina coordinated the tour very well within limited time and his explanation in the museum is very interesting and informative. Both tour company and the guide contacted me through WA to confirm pick up detail and meeting point in advance which made me comfortable because of limited time layover at Cairo. I recommend to traveller who doesn’t have time in Cairo but want to visit “must see” place. As of early Nov 2024, majority of major items are still in the museum but once Grand Egyptian Museum fully opened, you may need to discuss with tour operator in advance what you would like to see.

We were met by our guide Paula and driver moataz at the airport and taken from there to the museum. Paula was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure to point out all the salient pieces from the museum, he was also brilliant at answering our questions. He asked us what we wanted to do and provided very good options to fill our day with. We then went to the perfume factory which was a lovely experience, we were able to sample many scents and even had the option of combing our own. After this we went to the pyramids where Paula took fantastic pictures for us and continues our history lesson, keeping things very interesting and fun throughout. Finally we visited an Egyptian rug work shop and the bazaar to allow us to pick unique souvenirs from our memorable day. All in all a fantastic experience, we travelled everywhere by car and made amazing use of our limited time in Cairo, we highly recommend!
