Ryan was a fantastic driver! He was really friendly and helpful, picked us up super early and drove us safely. He sorted our tickets out for us and came up on the cable car with us to take some pictures. We had a great time walking the wall and coming back down on the toboggan and Ryan met us at the bottom. He also took us to a great tea house on the way back. Would 100% recommend, well worth the money!

We were picked up on time in a very comfortable van and driven to the Mutanya great area. Since we had not eaten breakfast our Drver suggested a nice place for breakfast around the area so that we would not waste any time. Since we were early there were no crowds on the great wall. We finished our walk and then were picked up by Davis our driver. Davis was an excellent driver and briefed us very well on what to expect on the trip

Wonderful experience. My driver, Arien was Amazing. He went out of his way to make everything perfect. I selected pick up time from my Beijing Central hotel for 6AM and it was the best decision I made. Arien was there to pick up me right on time. The drive to the entrance was about 1 hour and 20 minutes from my hotel and we got there right before it was open. He literally drop my off right in front of it, from specific entrance( VIP part of the service) instead of having to take the entrance shuttle bus. He got me a chairlift and toboggan ticket, which I later paid him with WeChat pay. So worth. It was very fun! He gave me all the good tips and recommendations on how to explore the wall, and the best watch towers to go. At the end we had some extra time and I asked him if we could stop at a tea house on the way. He took me to a small village’s tea ceremony. Very cool! We had great conversations in the car and his english was very good!
Going to the wall in the early morning is yhe best option. Got there at 7:30 am was very peaceful and not many people at all. By the time I came back down (around 9:30 am) it was full of people and very busy. GO EARLY in the day and with a private driver is the way to go!

After we visited the Great Wall he brought us to have a Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony.

My brother and I had a wonderful experience in our Mutianyu Great Wall Private Tour with English-speaking driver this morning (28th March) for half a day. Our driver was Fred and he was very helpful, friendly and very conversant in English! He even took us to the Olympic stadium for some photos even though it wasn’t part of the itinerary.

The tour was amazing and even better than I would have expected! The communication before the tour with Linda was super efficient and quick.
On the day of the tour my driver Bentley waited for me with my name written on a sign (to avoid confusion as it is a big airport!), we went together to the parking and he drove me to the start of the Miutanyu Great Wall area. There I could have taken the cable car up, but I decided to walk up. To be honest, the walk up is approximately 30 minutes id you are average fit.
Bentley walked up with me and took me so many pictures, and also explained a few things on the great wall.
I finished the walk on the wall itself on my own and Bentley waited for me at the start point.
We drove back to the airport perfectly on time.
Bentley also provided a winter jacket, a bottle of water and bananas.
Was super cool and so worth it!!

Our day with Thomas was exceptional. He is so knowledgeable & helpful, his personality, fluent English and interest in history made this a really memorable day. He picked us up at our hotel, drove us to the Great Wall at Mutianyu and helped us get our tickets before taking us to the cable car. The views from the top were amazing in both directions, we spent some time exploring before finding Thomas patiently waiting for us after descending in the cable car. Altogether a wonderful experience, thank you Linda for organising and Thomas for your company.

This was an awe experience in spite of having seen so many photographs of the Great Wall. The walk can be challenging especially coming off a long flight. However my driver was extremely sensitive to this and assisted when needed. His authenticity and warmth were outstanding.

We had a long layover in Beijing and wanted to make the most of it—this tour was perfect. Linda was super friendly, professional, and really took great care of us throughout the day.
She paid close attention to our schedule and needs, and since we had some extra time, she added a few bonus stops: a jade factory (with a short tour), a souvenir shop, and a tea house where we got to enjoy a full tea ceremony and tasting. The tea was delicious—pricey, but really high quality, and we ended up buying a lot!
We still had time to spare before our flight, so we had a bonus tour at the Forbidden City, which she was able to arrange last-minute for just $30 USD per person. Totally worth it and a great way to experience one of Beijing’s top sights without feeling rushed.
Linda made everything easy and enjoyable, and we got back to the airport with plenty of time. Can’t recommend this enough if you have a layover in Beijing—so worth it!

Amazing trip to the Great Wall of China. We could not fault a thing. Mr Wu took great care of us during our visit. He picked us up at the airport and brought us in his clean and well kept car to the Great Wall of China. Took some amazing photos of us at the wall. Bought tickets on our behalf and translated as required. We were lucky that there was very little traffic so we had lots of spare time during our 16 hours stopover.He kindly brought us to a traditional Chinese restaurant where we had some of the best food. After that he dropped us off in Beijing instead of the airport so we could visit some of the city. He even made us a sign with instructions for the airport and the metro in case we go lost going back to the metro. Thank you Mr Wu for your hospitality, care and an amazing stop over at the Great Wall of China !!!!

This tour is a must!! Our driver was very professional, speaks english and very accomodating to our needs. Our ride to the site was very comfortable and he assited us in getting our tickets. He was very helpful and always available to attend to our needs.
Getting a private tour is worth it because you can tailor it according to your own pace. We arrived at the site early and we were able to enjoy the Great Wall by ourselves. We left as soon as the crowd from the tour buses started pouring in.

Linda is an awesome tour operator. We took her private transfer to Great Wall and she brought us early so we literally beat the Labour Day holiday crowd. There were hardly anyone up there. We had all the time to take good pic minus the crowd. She also recommended a good restaurant where locals go to that served really good peking duck yet very affordable. One of the days we were stuck after our tour (we used another tour co) at Forbidden City and couldn’t get any taxi back. I asked her help and she got me a taxi back to my hotel. The best part is she speaks English!!!

It was a great experience in Beijing to visit the great wall. I traveled alone and had less time, so this was the best Tour i could choose to feel comfortable and see the amazing great wall. Linda was so kind and such a great travelbuddy for a couple of hours. We had a 2h trip from Beijing rail station to the Great Wall. She organized everything and i could enjoy the ride and the great wall. It was a great communication and i definitley recommend this tour with Linda. Especially, if you are alone for travelling and have less time.

We did the Great Wall tour with Linda on our stopover in Beijing on the way to the Philippines and were so happy with her that , on our way back, we arranged a tour aorund Beijing with her again. Es war alles perfekt organisiert. Ein tolle Tour mit einem tollen Menschen. Wir wurden ganz früh morgens am Hotel abgeholt und sind direkt zur chinesischen Mauer gefahren.
