It is good but people need to get ready to walk a lot, the place is very crowded, and this make the experience some kind of sour, bjt it is not beause the guide, it to much vvisitors allowed in one day

We were able to get checked by security fairly quickly. Our guide, Mary, kept us entertained by lots of fun stories, facts and important historical dates. She reviewed this information throughout the day to help us make the connections with what we were seeing within the walls of the Forbidden City. It was a lovely morning and at the end of the tour, Mary pointed me in the right direction to walk to the top of Jingshan Hill (opposite north exit) and also gave me recommendations for lunch. A memorable and exciting day for me! Can't wait to choose another fascinating tour!

Melinda was a wonderful and delightful tour guide for both Tiananmen Sq and the Forbidden City. Melinda was very knowledgeable about the history , culture and timeline of each tour interest providing factual information in concise English She was a great communicator before and after the tour regarding where to meet and how to return to our destinations and kept us moving so we stayed with the timeline and saw .what was described.. Our tour guide was Melinda, and she was incredible. Thanks to her guidance we were able to skip a lot of the queues (which without a tour guide could easily take you 2+Hours) and fully enjoy this experience. She's very knowledgeable about the history of these places, even telling us side stories and taken us to some less crowded areas that felt almost secret and special. I would absolutely recommend you book this tour !

Fabulous visit to Ti’annamen Square and The Forbidden City. Helen was so knowledgeable, friendly, and authentic that it made the visit very interesting and we could ask as many questions as we liked. Helen kept a good pace and kept everyone moving with her history and stories. The fast pass tickets was a real bonus at this time of year when queues to get through security were unbelievably long. We didn’t spend more that a few minutes at each checkpoint. We really enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend it to others.

Our family group of seven people had wonderful time in this tour. Venessa the Tour Guide was amazing! She knew all the information was even able to share some of her personal experiences. The combination of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Beijing, but with hard-to-buy tickets and heavy security, so the guide was worth it alone to help navigate all the various queues and processes. From research, it seems it is possible to get tickets individually, but the tour companies have these block-booked, and while more expensive, the process was so much easier and less stressful. The Forbidden City itself is spectacular and a must-see heritage site, and the guide was both friendly and full of interesting information about the history of the place. Biggest downside was the weather - we went in August in >30C conditions, but you have to be prepared to do a lot of walking over wide concrete/stone spaces regardless, so take lots of water and wear something comfortable if you're going this time of year. But that can't be held against the tour guide, so I've not subtracted any stars for that. We didn't get to see all of the (it is huge) but we could have stayed and explored more if we'd wanted. As another tip, really don't underestimate the Beijing traffic if getting there by taxi - we were late but fortunately our guide was in touch with us by text and we were able to rendezvous with them after they'd started.

Great! Easy to follow Ping. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Forbidden City has very limited shade so sunscreen and a hat will be good idea.

Going with a tour guide allowed us to skip the queue which was humongous but the guide told us this was allowed by the government for the month of august only due to the high number of visitors.
The guide was a good person but his english was difficult to understand and the poor quality headset did not help either. The place is fantastic but the guide did not make it very engaging. In my opinion he was knowledgable but could have focused much more on the history than what he did.

We had an amazing time with Vanessa she was very knowledgeable friendly and happy to answer any questions. She navigated us through all the security stations efficiently despite ques. The forbidden city is definitely worth visiting We initially had issues with booking that lead to duplicate booking which I could not access the tour company were very good and managed to cancel 1 with a full refund would definitely recommend this trip

Linda was a good guide. She was also very knowledgeable and well experienced! I would recommend her to family and friends!
Our private driver to the Great Wall was outstanding. He made sure we arrived early, well ahead of the crowds, which made the entire experience much more enjoyable. He was punctual, professional, and took great care of us throughout the day. His English was excellent, making communication easy and helping us feel comfortable from start to finish. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and attentive driver for a Great Wall visit.
It was a very good tour. Good guide and a good and diverse group. Went for about 4 hours including about 0.5-1 hr in a queue, but that couldn't be helped. Bucket list ticked. 👌
Very long tour. Our guide was very nice. Way better to go on a tour than try to do this on your own as we could skip some lines.
Very well organized. We saw all the most critical parts of the Forbidden City. Guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience seamlessly good!
Boring and guide does not speak english very well. Please also not go in a hot day. Each stop in this tour is a bit the same.
We took the tour to save ourselves time and worry and it worked - our guide spoke good English and he helped us go through all necessary procedures - we spent 2 hours waiting in line for security check - it is easy to spend even 4 - take it into account visiting Beijing
The queues were over a hour long meaning we didnt get much time to explore tianmen square or the forbidden city, so it felt quite rushed. They should allow for more time to account for the summer queues. David (Wang) was an excellent guide however and let us go back to take photos after the tour, although we were unable to get back into tianmen square after which was disappointing.
Great tour! Our guide, Snow, showed us everything we wanted to in both sites and was very knowledgeable. It was very hot so definitely bring a hat and plenty of water if you’re going in the summer but definitely don’t miss it!
Mary was an amazing tour guide and was fantastic at navigating the crowds and keeping the group moving together. She really went above and beyond with entertaining our little ones throughout, especially when they were resting in the shade from the heat so we could then go and look into specific buildings.
Despite the long security lines and the high temperatures, we all enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend booking this half day tour to others.
