We had an amazing time with Vanessa she was very knowledgeable friendly and happy to answer any questions. She navigated us through all the security stations efficiently despite ques. The forbidden city is definitely worth visiting We initially had issues with booking that lead to duplicate booking which I could not access the tour company were very good and managed to cancel 1 with a full refund would definitely recommend this trip

Our private driver to the Great Wall was outstanding. He made sure we arrived early, well ahead of the crowds, which made the entire experience much more enjoyable. He was punctual, professional, and took great care of us throughout the day. His English was excellent, making communication easy and helping us feel comfortable from start to finish. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and attentive driver for a Great Wall visit.

It was a very good tour. Good guide and a good and diverse group. Went for about 4 hours including about 0.5-1 hr in a queue, but that couldn't be helped. Bucket list ticked. 👌

Boring and guide does not speak english very well. Please also not go in a hot day. Each stop in this tour is a bit the same.

We took the tour to save ourselves time and worry and it worked - our guide spoke good English and he helped us go through all necessary procedures - we spent 2 hours waiting in line for security check - it is easy to spend even 4 - take it into account visiting Beijing

The queues were over a hour long meaning we didnt get much time to explore tianmen square or the forbidden city, so it felt quite rushed. They should allow for more time to account for the summer queues. David (Wang) was an excellent guide however and let us go back to take photos after the tour, although we were unable to get back into tianmen square after which was disappointing.

Great tour! Our guide, Snow, showed us everything we wanted to in both sites and was very knowledgeable. It was very hot so definitely bring a hat and plenty of water if you’re going in the summer but definitely don’t miss it!

Mary was an amazing tour guide and was fantastic at navigating the crowds and keeping the group moving together. She really went above and beyond with entertaining our little ones throughout, especially when they were resting in the shade from the heat so we could then go and look into specific buildings.
Despite the long security lines and the high temperatures, we all enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend booking this half day tour to others.

Well-organised tour of Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. Note there is a lot of queueing for both attractions in open spaces (hot in July!). Our guide Peter told history well, included fun anecdotes, and humoured our questions. In the Forbidden City, the tour only covered the southern half of the palace and the treasure galleries - but you are able to explore the northern half afterwards if you like. If visiting in the hot months, bring lots of water and maybe a fan

Iris was a wonderful tour guide. She made sure everyone was moving together, answered all questions, and made sure everyone was doing okay in the heat (this was very important!!). She was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of info throughout the tour.

This is of course a must-see experience in Beijing. The guide, Julia, was an excellent guide — she has significant knowledge of traditional Chinese thought and is extremely helpful and gracious with tour participants.

We had Lisa as a guide and she was great! we were able to see Tiananmen Square and a lot of the Forbidden City. She was incredibly knowledgeable walked us through several parts of this massive city. It was incredibly hot and humid in July make sure your ready for swarms of people and have lots of water and sunscreen!

Pretty good guide. Was very patient and got the group to move through a lot of attractions quickly. If traveling in summer, go prepared. Not for people who might be sensitive to sun. Hat, water and shade are not negotiable.

All I can really say is that Julia was a great and accommodating tour guide for the Forbidden City. She made sure you had your passport ready and she also had all our QR codes ready during the security checks to make entering Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square so much easier. Everywhere we went., Julia told us facts and explain so much of the history and importance of the relics/buildings in Forbidden City. If you are a history nerd, I really recommend having Julia as your tour guide here.

We had an amazing experience on this tour! Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history of both the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. He explained the historical significance of each site in a way that was easy to understand and made the experience much more meaningful.
The tour was very well paced. We spent enough time exploring both locations without ever feeling rushed, while still covering all the major highlights. The small group size also made it easy to ask questions and interact with the guide.
We absolutely loved visiting both places and would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Beijing’s history and culture. A truly memorable experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a must tour, the guide was very thorough and friendly, she is a 5 star guide! The tour is well made, you will use the full 3-4 hours to get a sense of the scale and depth. Of course if you want to see the entire place you're best to book on your own without a guide but you won't get the history. I was fortunate that the weather was great, i don't know that it would be enjoyable in the heavy rain or fog. Also keep in mind it takes some time to walk to the entrance, and the trip does involve alot of walking. But what a stellar tour this was.
