Great visit to the Great Wall!!
Meeting point was easy to find and Kevin was friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic. Trip to the wall was ok, we found the legroom on the bus was a little cramped especially for my husband with long legs. Cable car tickets were easily acquired from Kevin and all went smoothly thanks to Kevin’s clear instructions. The Great Wall was much steeper than expected but we climbed as much as we liked in the time we had. Cable Cars trips were lovely. Lunch was great and we had the chance to meet some of the other travellers which was great.

10/10 Recommend
Had a great day, Kevin 10/10. English was fantastic and very interactive.
This tour also provider quicker access to the sky rail departure point than other operators, which saved a lot of time when lining up and was greatly appreciated.
Would recommend this tour above others and would definitely choose a private over a group tour.

Easiest way of experiencing one of Beijing's must-see heritage sites.
The combination of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Beijing, but with hard-to-buy tickets and heavy security, so the guide was worth it alone to help navigate all the various queues and processes. From research, it seems it is possible to get tickets individually, but the tour companies have these block-booked, and while more expensive, the process was so much easier and less stressful. The Forbidden City itself is spectacular and a must-see heritage site, and the guide was both friendly and full of interesting information about the history of the place. Biggest downside was the weather - we went in August in >30C conditions, but you have to be prepared to do a lot of walking over wide concrete/stone spaces regardless, so take lots of water and wear something comfortable if you're going this time of year. But that can't be held against the tour guide, so I've not subtracted any stars for that. We didn't get to see all of the (it is huge) but we could have stayed and explored more if we'd wanted. As another tip, really don't underestimate the Beijing traffic if getting there by taxi - we were late but fortunately our guide was in touch with us by text and we were able to rendezvous with them after they'd started.

The Great Wall is Amazing!!!
My tour guide, Jack, was the best! He was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the Great Wall…I didn’t know it was 13,000 miles long.
I also really enjoyed this excursion even-though it was a challenging one. The Great Wall is an amazing structure—-I can’t believe humans built it!!! It definitely is one of the wonders of the world.

An Unforgettable Day at Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & the Great Wall
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Beijing experience – Mr Guo & Jenny were fantastic
We had an absolutely fantastic day in Beijing, and the whole experience was extremely well organised from beginning to end.
Before the tour, Jenny contacted me promptly via WhatsApp with all the details and was incredibly helpful. She recommended that we arrange an earlier pickup to avoid the crowds at the Great Wall, which turned out to be excellent advice and made a real difference to our experience.
A huge thank you also to Mr Guo, who was everything you could wish for from a driver and guide. He was incredibly kind, friendly and patient, with excellent English, and was always happy to explain things, answer our questions and make sure we were comfortable.
He is also a very good and safe driver. Everything throughout the day ran smoothly and we never felt rushed, allowing us to simply enjoy Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Mutianyu Great Wall.
Mr Guo was professional, knowledgeable, reliable and, above all, a genuinely lovely person. Together with Jenny’s excellent communication and organisation, they made our day in Beijing one we will always remember.
I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. A very well-deserved 5 stars and a huge thank you to both Mr Guo and Jenny! 🇨🇳⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Must do Tour in Beijing
The tour was exceptionally well organized, from start to finish. Communication prior to the trip was excellent, directions were clear, and we departed on schedule. During the summer, the ticket office is very busy, so it took us almost one hour to enter the Forbidden City. However, this didn’t have a negative impact on the overall experience. The tour covers an impressive amount of ground and highlights all key attractions, including historical buildings, bridges, gates, plazas, artwork, furniture, and gardens. It provided a comprehensive overview of this incredible UNESCO World Heritage site. A special shout out to our guide Jade, who was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and passionate about sharing the history and significance of each location. She took great care of each participant, asked interesting questions to keep all engaged, answered all inquiries with patience and expertise, and made the experience both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing. It was a memorable experience and one of the highlights of te our trip.

Fantastic tour
If you are visiting the Great Wall, do yourself a favor and book this private tour! Rose was an incredible tour guide from start to finish. She was right on time for pickup, and her suggestion to head out earlier in the morning was spot on and we completely beat the massive crowds.
Rose gave us the VIP treatment. She drives you directly to the cable car entrance, you skip the long line for the shuttle buses entirely, saving so much time and hassle.
Once we got up to the wall, Rose stayed with us, sharing great insights and acting as our personal photographer. She seriously knows what she’s doing when it comes to taking pictures. We walked away with amazing memories and stunning photos.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Rose!

Mutianyu Great Wall
Once I made the booking I was contacted by Tony to confirm my pick up location. I had the pleasure of Lillian as my driver. She was absolutely wonderful. The trip to the Great Wall was about 1 1/2 hours in a very comfortable car. Lillian was very pleasant to be with. She was so very helpful to be sure that I got in the right line and on the cable car. I had a problem with my ticket as i had purchased the wrong one and she helped me get that sorted out. She came along with me at the beginning and was able to take some great photos of me at the Wall which was very helpful since I was on my own. She then waited for me while I hiked the wall for about 2 1/2 hours then directed me to a good place to get some lunch, then got me back to my hotel. All in all she helped make my Great Wall experience a wonderful one. Highly recommended!

Amazing Experience
The sunset tour to the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall was amazing. There were very few tourists on the wall which made the experience even better. Our tour guide Jackie was really nice. He even gave us a certificate at the end. Would definitely do it again!

Get this layover toiur
This was the perfect layover tour for me. Naomi , my guide, was very friendly, helpful & she made sure that I get to see the sights I wanted in a reasonable time & still managed to drop be off in time for my next flight. It was a great experience & I’m thankful to Naomi for that. She even gave me a panda bracelet souvenir which I appreciate. Communication from the tour group is also very efficient.

From Long Layover to Lifetime Memory — Thank You!
Mark gave us what was easily one of the most unforgettable travel experiences we’ve ever had, all during a layover in Beijing. We had an 18 hour layover and wanted to get the most out of it, we booked his longest tour and then discussed with him how we could make it even longer to truly experience as much as possible.
From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional: he timed our airport pickup perfectly, somehow predicting exactly when we’d make it through immigration and customs, which made a huge difference after an international flight with very little sleep.
His vehicle alone felt like a luxury recovery lounge — incredibly comfortable seats that nearly laid back and even propped up our legs. It was exactly what we needed to recharge before an action-packed day when we were running on only a couple hours of sleep.
Mark curated the perfect Beijing experience for us.
We started at the Great Wall, where we took a chair lift up, explored, and then had an absolute blast taking the toboggan down. From there, he brought us to a great tea ceremony that was both relaxing and fascinating. Next was the Forbidden City, where Mark’s knowledge truly shined. He was constantly sharing incredible stories, historical facts, and cultural insights that made every stop feel meaningful. Thanks to his knowledge, we even got to see some of the terracotta warriors on display at the palace that we never would have known about otherwise.
The day somehow kept getting better. Mark then took us for one of the most authentic and delicious Peking Duck dinners imaginable where we all got to talk about everyday life in China and how much Beijing had changed since he was a boy. After dinner, we grabbed bikes and rode past Tiananmen Square before heading into a hutong market for shopping, which was the perfect way to experience Beijing at night before heading back to the airport.
What’s most impressive is how seamlessly Mark made this all happen. In just one layover, he gave us a rich, exciting, comfortable, and deeply memorable experience of Beijing. He is knowledgeable, organized, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about what he does.
If you have even a short stop in Beijing, booking Mark Ma is one of the best travel decisions you could make. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Truly an amazing guide and an absolutely incredible day!

Unforgettable Layover Tour Experience in Beijing
I recently took a Layover tour in Beijing, and it was fantastic! My guide, Jim, picked me up early from the airport and made the experience memorable. The tour lasted about five hours, longer than scheduled, but Jim never rushed me. He offered great suggestions while allowing me to explore at my own pace.
Despite some language barrier, Jim effectively used his translator app to share insights about each location’s history. His comfortable car made traveling between sites a breeze. I’d happily do this tour again and highly recommend it!
