What are people saying about Beijing

Skip the stress, book here
I can’t recommend Sophia enough for anyone visiting the Forbidden City. She was incredibly informative and detailed, bringing each hall and courtyard to life with historical context and little-known facts. Honestly, trying to navigate the Forbidden City without a guide would have been overwhelming – there’s very limited information on-site about each location, and you’d miss so much of the story.
We were lucky to have a small group – just 6 people total, including my own group of 4. That made the experience feel personal and easygoing. Sophia also provided earpieces, so we could hear every word clearly even when there were crowds around.
Communication before the trip was excellent too. She coordinated everything seamlessly – from confirming passport numbers to arranging the meet-up location. Everything went smoothly.

Memorable Experience
The tour was interesting and the guide, Linda was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She told us the story about the dragon lady and her contributions to the historical sites. The Summer Palace and lake were tranquil and Linda explained the areas surrounding the lake and the other historical places. We enjoyed a delicious lunch near the Great Wall and then climbed from station 5 to station 1. Then we took the slide down. Linda helped us with souvenirs, showed us to the tea house, and took many family pictures for us. The drive home was pleasant and conversational. The driver was safe and careful and loaned us his umbrella when the weather looked rainy. We highly recommend Linda and this tour. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Highly Recommend
Our guide Linda was amazing. She was very kind and professional. She spoke English very well and made our trip very enjoyable and informative. Having a private guide is so much better than going with the larger groups. We left Beijing at 7:30 am and were done visiting the wall without the larger crowds. As we were leaving all of the larger buses were arriving. I would recommend this company to all of our friends.

Covers so much in one day
Such a great tour, especially if you don’t have much time to spend in Beijing, we only had one day and chose to do this tour and we got to see so much. Our tour guide Lucy was amazing, she had so much knowledge about the history of the area and she really knew how to maximise our time and made sure we had a great experience.

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience exploring the Forbidden City with Cindy. She was very knowledgeable and created an enjoyable experience for my father and I. She also got us into the Forbidden City quickly, which was helpful because the line can take 2 hours. We highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Tour
My son and myself very much enjoyed our tour with Anson, we were taken to many food stops giving us a good understanding of local cuisine. Having a walk around the local Hutons was also very interesting.
I would totally recomend this tour, come hungry, there's alot of food.

Amazing experience for our 1st time in Beijing
Travelling with 3 young kids can be challenging, but this tour made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. Mr. Zhang (our driver) and our guide Jessie were incredibly professional, always on time, and so accommodating.
Jessie’s English was excellent, and she was amazing with our kids (ages 9, 6, and 4). She adjusted the pace perfectly for young families — no rushing, just lots of patience and understanding.
The food over both days was fantastic, and the kids genuinely loved every meal. Jessie also kept them engaged with stories and explanations they could actually understand, which made the experience even more memorable.
Highly recommend this tour for families with young kids — Jessie truly made the experience special for us!

A wonderful tour of the...
A wonderful tour of the Forbidden City with our guide Sonia. The whole process from booking until the end of the tour was well organised and seamless. Sonia was very kind and super knowledgeable. She was a great communicator and taught us so much about Beijing and Chinese history as well as about more modern life. Even though the area itself is very busy, she helped create a calm and relaxed atmosphere. It really enriched our visit of the capital and I would highly recommend.

Jinshaling wall
We took the tour because we wanted to see the less crowded parts of the Great Wall of China. The Jinshaling wall of China was extremely well preserved. The Gubei water town is just an ancient looking modern Watertown similar to a water town in South China but nothing much there. There’s a lot of things to eat. We traveled with Miko Lee who was our guide for the tour. We are vegans and since this tour also included food in the form of dinner, Miko was kind enough to accommodate us into a restaurant that would suit our palette. We left the hotel at around 12:45 PM and return back at around 9:45 PM. We did not wait to see the lights coming on at the Simatai wall since the drive itself was approximately two hours back into the city. The lights come on at around 7:15 PM in May.
Miko was knowledgeable and considerate. Involves a lot of walking, including climbing steps. The cable car at simatai wall was also very good. This tour gives you an experience of the less crowded more wall Jinshaling preserved wall section, and also gives you an idea of the crumbling nature of the wall in the Simatai section. You have to walk through the Gubei water town in order to reach the Simatai section. If you have plenty of time, you can do this on your own, but we are very pressed on time and so we took this tour. The tour is a little pricey and expensive I thought but well worth the money because our time crunch. The two of us very well Arganese on time and both the driver and the guide were extremely good and accommodating

Great day!!!
Jenny was exceptional and enthusiastically shared the history of China with us. She adeptly customized the tour and was very accommodating as some venues were closed due to a state visit. She is an outstanding ambassador for China and Chinese culture.

This is a beautiful part...
This is a beautiful part of the wall to visit, offering a great 6km hike, and fewer crowds than parts of the wall closer to Beijing. Jackie was a great driver, and it was very convenient to hire someone if you’re short on time as this part of the wall is 2-2.5 hours from Beijing.
