The early start beats massive crowds, definitely worth it. Tour guide Ken was great and gave us options and the ability to beat the crowds and have no wait on the toboggan ride.

Our driver, Marvin, was very helpful and friendly. He picked us up on time and took us close to the chairlift that goes up to the wall. The trip was comfortable and went smoothly. The wall is amazing, of course … and more of a physical challenge to navigate than I was expecting. Those stairs to the corner tower are steep! A great experience

It was very disappointing S there was no guide it was just the driver who took us to the Great Wall left us at the entrance and told us to meet him at a spot after we finish walking .. there was no water in the car
Extremely disappointed with this tour had to look for the driver for over 15 mins
Also the morning pick up was 9 am the driver arrived late as they put in 9.30 am as start time
We were waiting for lobby
This is simply not done to just do a tour on our own with a driver to just pick up and drop off

We are so sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience with our tour. The departure time for your tour was scheduled for 9:00am which is your choice. We admit that we made a mistake with the pickup time in the morning. However driver arrived at 9:10am and met you ASAP. Once we realized our fault, we started to apologize for many times. But we completely understand how frustrating this must have been. We take full responsibility for the delay. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we caused you that day.
Please also note the tour you booked is Private Mutianyu Great Wall Trip with English-Speaking Driver. As clearly shown in the tour description, a tour guide is not included. We do have alternative Great Wall tours that provide tour guide service, though they come at a different price. And driver even explained some history for you.
Regarding drinking water: our driver mentioned he noticed you already had water with you, so he didn't offer you additional water. Please rest assured that our driver always prepare drinking water for guests. Please feel free to ask for water whenever you need it.

I had an amazing experience visiting the Great Wall of China with my tour guide, Ken! He was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. He shared a lot of interesting information about the Great Wall and made the experience both fun and educational.
Ken also went above and beyond by helping me take some really great photos and finding the best spots for pictures. He was patient, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable and enjoying the experience the whole time.
I highly recommend Ken to anyone visiting the Great Wall of China. Thank you, Ken, for making my visit so memorable!

This tour also provider quicker access to the sky rail departure point than other operators, which saved a lot of time when lining up and was greatly appreciated.
Would recommend this tour above others and would definitely choose a private over a group tour.

We booked it as a driver to the wall.
James was very helpful and open to our wishes. He booked the tickets to the gondola, so we didn't need to spend time on that. We paid him after, as it isn't included.
He is one of the best drivers we have used for years. Very calm, never got into any situations. We felt totally safe.

We are so glad we booked a private driver for the Great Wall. Kevin did an amazing job getting us to the right location to start our walk (not an easy task on a very busy Monday). He shared interesting facts about the wall, scheduled a last minute cable car ride down for us, and made reservations for a fabulous Peking duck meal upon our return to Beijing. We would happily work with Kevin again.

Our driver Arien was lovely and accomodating. We stopped for coffee and snacks on the way up to the Great Wall, then got to walk the wall for a couple hours. Was amazing to see a world wonder up close! Thankyou ! :)

We had a great time, our guide stopped on the way for us to get some delicious breakfast and checked in to see if we wanted to stop in at the shopping/eating walking strip near the Mutianyu shuttle bus stop after we finished on the wall. He gave us his WeChat contact so we could easily let him know when we were on the way back from the wall to meet us rather than wandering around aimlessly trying to spot a meeting point in the very crowded spaces. He was super friendly and told us nice information about the regions he drove us through. We would definitely recommend this service to anyone visiting the wall but unsure about kids and strict time limits often given by other tours.

This was great! I was in Beijing on the busiest weekend of the year and the team made sure we left early enough to beat the crowds. Alvin was a great driver and acted as a guide all the way up to the wall. He helped me order some lunch and even made a pit stop at a tea house if I wanted.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Our driver was lovely. Was at our hotel ontime bright and early at 6:30am. He organised our tickets for the lift and told us to just take our time and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend booking this tour and getting the earliest time of 6:30am. We were leaving when many of the crowds were just arriving. Was a great experience being on the wall with no other tourists. Easier to take pictures!

Our trip to the Great Wall of China was fantastic. This tour was perfect for folks that don’t have a lot of time but want to go see the wall. The driver (Mr. Wu) was one of the best tour guides I’ve had on these kinds of tours. He was great. He picked us up at our hotel and took us up to the wall. Walked the wall with us and took photos for us. He negotiated the cable car ride and toboggan tickets for us and directed us to which gift shops were best to go through, etc. Because the tour was private, he was able to work with us on our specific time schedule to get us back in time for our evening flight out of Beijing.

I would highly recommend this tour. Aside from amazing scenery, the private driver provided ultimate flexibility that simplified things for a non-Chinese speaker. It was so much more relaxing to have the private driver and not have to worry about rideshare apps or managing a large bus group, and also much more efficient as we could move at our own timeframe.
