I recently went on a tour of the Great Wall of China, and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Kevin, was incredibly friendly and shared so much interesting history about the Wall and the country as a whole. His knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the day. This was a great experience. The meeting location was easy to find and Kevin, the guide gave thorough instructions and information on the way up to the Great Wall. This is perfect for solo travelers as you can meet others and be with a group but also have flexibility to go off on your own. It’s nice to know someone is checking on you and that you make it back. Pay the few bucks for the lunch. It was worth it. The ride back was quiet as your pretty spent by the end. Kevin made sure everyone made it off to whatever they weee doing next.

The overall experience was very hassle free. The guide was really amazing, meeting point was absolutely right, he got all the tickets done and explained us really well about the route to go. We had a lunch option as well after the viewing which was surprisingly good for me since I'm a vegetarian. The views from the wall were really amazing. From what I've heard it's a bit less crowded than badaling wall

I appreciated the tour guide. She gave us the information we needed without being too verbose. She got us through the hawkers at the bottom really quickly. Plenty of toilet stops. My young family members climbed all of it. I could still enjoy as much climbing as I could handle. This was an excellent tour. The food was great.

To really enjoy the visit you should be reasonably fit as there is a lot of unavoidable walking. Fantastic experience in low season as not many people.
Great guide Cristina gave good info before arrival and was contactable throughout.

The trip to Mutianyu was great. Our driver Bruce was very friendly and helpful. He arranged the tickets for cable car up and slide back down and waited till we liked to go back. On our way back we ended up in heavy traffic and on our proposal he dropped us off at a nearby subway station so we didn’t miss our train back to Shanghai. I recommend this trip.

If you want a visit to the Wall of China without perrange, this is your tour. Guide Kevin is spectacular. Fluent English, explains everything in detail and still is funny. Kkkk
Lunch is in a typical restaurant, simple but very tasty. We like all the dishes. The walk was perfect and everything punctual. And to complete we picked up the wall all little snow pq had snowed the night before.

Étant donné la fréquentation ce jour là, il nous a laissé une heure de plus sur la muraille afin de pouvoir réaliser le programme conseillé, et le timing était parfait! Le repas était varié, très bon moment de convivialité avec le groupe.
Si vous voulez visiter la muraille sans vous prendre la tête, je vous le recommande.
