Communication with car operator Trippest was. great before, during and after pick up. Driver communicated with us after arrival describing location for pick up after immigration and customs. He was waiting for us with our name on a sign. He was very courteous and a good driver. Process was seamless. Highly recommend and a good value.

Great day at the Great Wall

We received great support during our Mutianyu visit. We did not need to arrange cable‑car or slideway tickets beforehand, and multiple types of free tea were provided at the facility. The Great Wall itself is breathtaking. Our guide John noted this is the most beautiful part, where you can find Hero Slope and General Platform. The scenery varies a lot between the two sides, and seeing both is well worth the effort. John delivered very professional commentary, covering historical background, beacon‑tower functions and facts from different dynasties. A high‑quality day out.

Tickets were provided well in advance, making the whole process seamless. We could enter through any gate, just by scanning the QR code at the turnstile. Super easy! We didn’t use the guide so cannot comment on that. The Summer Palace itself was very pretty - we enjoyed the walk around the lake more than the buildings area by the north gate.

The tour was fantastic, and Keith was very welcoming and an excellent tour guide. Thanks to this trip, we avoided the crowds and were almost completely alone at the Great Wall. Just a few hours later, it became extremely crowded, so the early start was definitely worth it. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch, and the food was delicious. The entire trip was comfortable, well organized, and luxurious. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more peaceful and enjoyable Great Wall experience. One small suggestion for improvement would be to include more information about China, its history, and the Great Wall during the drive. A short 5–10 minute video or presentation would add valuable context and make the experience even better.

I commend the great expertise of Lee, our tour guide. He is fun, eloquent in English and knows the history, culture, and every story of each site visited. I super enjoyed this entire tour, from the Great Wall, to the palace and Tinanmen square to a side trip at Jade house and Chinese medicine and the SUMPTUOS LUNCH. It is a whole day trip but it feels greqt to explore the prime destinations that offer hidden gem of beauty, human artistry and craftiness. I enjoyed the cable ride and the walk to the wonder of the world. May is the best time to visit here because of colder breezy air against the scorching heat of the sun. Price is very affordable. Thank you Mr. Lee and this Tour operator. The driver was also good. Our mode of communication was whatsapp and wechat and the entire group (7 of us from UK, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Scotland and Canada) felt very comfortable, relaxed and entertained. 10 out of 10.

The driver, Xing Jian is very punctual and sent us a photo of where he is standing at the crowded airport. He also took an active stance to look out for us, having taken the initiative to find out how we look like from our WhatsApp profile picture 👍🏼 Needless to say, he is of course very knowledgeable of Beijing and made the effort to point out to us the sights and landmarks along the journey to our hotel.

Traveling with toddler, infant, and senior parents.

I booked the service from my hotel to the airport the morning of my flight. My dad had taken a fall and I didn't realize that the Beijing subway was not stroller friendly on certain subway lines. With the luggages, an infant, and a toddler, it was an easy decision to book a driver service. Our driver showed up a few minutes before our expected pick up time. He was easy to spot, very friendly and helpful. He was a really safe driver especially given the crazy traffic in Beijing. I would definitely use this service again.
