Nice way to see the city! Lovely boat with plenty of seating in 3 levels. Outside seating is available on a nice day. The day we went was windy and raining. It was very cozy to sit inside however. The bottom level has a lot of seats with great views as well. Great commentary as well by a very nice woman. Everyone that works for the boat is very cordial. Ride was 1.5 hrs and we were able to capture many great pictures of Auckland’s highlights.Snacks and drinks available also. Highly recommend this boat tour!

Very easy to find. Staff available for questions. Weather was great and lots of room to roam, not very crowded .

Very nice vessel with beautiful views of the water and sites around the Auckland waterfront. Crew was friendly and the guide was knowledgeable !!

I was a little disappointed with the harbour cruise. I had a very hard time hearing the commentary both inside and outside on the boat. I kept trying to find a place where I could hear her, but gave up and just enjoyed the views. I think the speakers could be turned up or improved on. I also heard from other passengers that the audio was cutting out on our specific tour due to a battery, so maybe that was part of it. Either way, u missed the commentary which is what I was looking forward do. We did get to see someone bungee jump from the bridge - that was cool!
I also do not think this activity is great for young children unless they really like geology or history.

Weather was better than expected. The cruise was awesome, great team on the Fullers 360 Cat. Would definitely do another cruise somewhere else in the future.

We sailed on a lovely day, but it was still cool on the water. Bring a warm jumper!
Informative and enjoyable.
Karyn_O, Mar 2026
Wonderful opportunity to get an overview of Auckland and all its surroundings. Interesting to hear more about its history too.
Louise_G, Mar 2026
It was a great experience with a bit of history included, and we even got the chance to watch someone bungee jumping from the Harbour Bridge. The top level offers the best 360° views, although it can get quite windy up there—so hold on to your hat if you’re wearing one! The crew member was also very attentive, checking in to see if we needed anything and asking how the experience was going.

If it's your first time it's an amazing experience ✨️ the scenery is beautiful 😍 learning about the history of the sights you get to see

Lovely day out. Enjoyed the cruise and saw sites that are best seen from the water. Staff friendly and helpful.
Nimna_F, Mar 2026
Wonderful and an informative ride. Thanks to our guide Nick for the commentary that was an add on.
We first missed the cruise tour due to coming in late . Kudos to Viator and Fullers helping us to amend the booking. Everyone was so helpful.

Definitely do it if you’re a Lord of the Rings fan.
Lots of uneven steps. Not recommended for people use walkers

Wonderful way to see several areas with a great view! Very informative narrative along with the cruise. Some breathtaking photo opportunities of downtown Auckland, volcanoes, navy ships and the beautiful bridge!

On the back deck when the boat was moving you cannot hear the comentary. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Worth being in front of queue for an outside sitting or standing place. Limited view from inside.
Really enjoyable trip, very informative commentary

Great trip round the harbour,a little speedy in some parts but great day for it. Specially liked the views of the sailing ⛵️ ships and small sail boats 🛶.

I spent my entire tour on the upper deck.
The weather was really fine and the experience better for it.
Really thought the pacing, slower at points of high interest, then a bit of vigor on the in between stretches fun and memorable.
The audio commentary was informative, when I could discern what was being said.
The audio system was of poor resolution, and lacked clarity….muddy medium level volume.
It’s an experience with a lot of ambient noise, the waves, the wind and. just the thrumm of the engine and hull.
Because other patrons were yelling at each other throughout the commentary without regard for others…suggest the following.
Include a
“Please, respect other passengers during the commentary phases of our cruise.
Thanks in advance!”
Good value and fun, clean, well maintained craft and nice crew!

Not a lot to see of the city. Very basic viewing of harbour and surrounding area. If possible, better to view from a high point.
Valerie_V, Feb 2026
We had a wonderful day!! Min was early and was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. The tour was one of our best. Lots of time to view the gardens (although you could easily spend an entire day there)! Wellington Mountain was fun to climb and shopping time in Newmarket was appreciated,
Tracy_H, Feb 2026
Interesting tour but unfortunately the PA system was not working properly and we couldn’t hear the tour guide.
DAVID_I, Feb 2026
Great cruise with interesting commentary. The trip was quite comprehensive and included the traditional as well as modern aspects of Auckland.
Kenneth_G, Feb 2026
Nice comprehensive experience. Great weather helped. Had a complete and thorough trip around the Auckland harbor.
Angela_O, Jan 2026
Great cruise round the Auckland harbour area, well organised, not overcrowded, good commentary onboard. Lots of photo opportunities and the good weather helped.
John_P, Jan 2026
A pleasant and informative view of the harbour. If you sit out the back of the boat you will not hear the comnentary due to engine and wash noise but it is a great spot for taking photos. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
cynthia_j, Jan 2026
This was a great informative cruise. The narrator was clear and concise, she pointed out historical points and add informative information about each site. This cruise is great for someone who might have mobility issues. The harbor cruise provided outstanding pictures of Auckland’s City skyline. The crew was very helpful. The only negative thing I had about the cruise, is when it says it will provide water, it’s tap water in cup. Very misleading.
Tim_D, Jan 2026
Missed tge ferry, was given wrong directions by security who sent us off to another quay. When we realised we had been at the correct quay, the ferry had left.... Very wet and annoyed
Donnabella_A, Jan 2026
Lovely weather & staff and very informative!. The views were wonderful! The cruise was relaxing and managed to capture important sceneries. Over-all, an amazing tour!
Richard_W, Jan 2026
Interesting tour round the harbour. Good commentary but a little difficult to hear at times. Great views of Auckland and Waiheke Island
Graham_S, Jan 2026
Nice ride on the boat. Staff friendly. Not a lot to see around Auckland harbor. The tour is 30 minutes too long but not a bad way to spend some time out on the water.
