We cannot use the elevator to the Acropolis on group tours

The Acropolis of Athens is a citadel built on top of a relatively steep hill which can be slippery at specific spots especially when raining.
Bring a bottle of water (no cafe-bar at the site, only a water fountain), a hat, sunglasses, and an umbrella on a rainy day.
ID check required upon entry for reduced/free tickets holders

Kiki was wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable and descriptive of items/ history. She was accommodating for the hike to top of Acropolis for variety of physical levels of participants. We experienced sunset at the Parthenon and it was spectacular! Well worth our time

We had great guides and the experience was wonderful. Our only problem was finding the meeting place for the tour. We were late for both excursions because we had to depend on locals to help us. We were not able to get in touch with Viator representatives.

A long tour but full of great information. We did the museum first which meant it had cooled down before we went to the acropolis.the walk seemed daunting but with a few stops surprisingly ok. Our guide was excellent
