What a great experience, thanks to Babis for creating a memorable day. The early slowpoke drive to Corinth was due to unexpected rush hour traffic, but Babis made the most of our time once we reached the archeological ruins. It was amazing to see the museum and several sites that were still distinguishable. Onward to Athens, we were given precise instructions about where to meet back after Acropolis stop. The inclines and rocky surfaces were perfectly managed by us four golden agers, and once on top, the amazing ruins did not disappoint. Babis suggested a lunch stopping point, but we indicated that we'd wait until returning to the ship. Babis strategically used the ample remaining time to drive past many wonderful landmarks including the Zeus Temple, the Presidential Palace, The Panathenaic Stadium, Athens City Hall, Hellenic Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (with changing of the guard), The National Library and other significant sites. It was a win-win day for all of us and the October cooler weather was a bonus, too.

We had a fantastic day with Stefanos from Olive Sea Travel, who was knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and courteous! From the hotel pickup to the drop off at the end of the day, everything was taken care of and all we had to do was enjoy the tour and take in all that Athens and Corinth had to offer, made all the easier with the expert knowledge provided by Stefanos. Extra convenience was provided by Olive Sea Travel purchasing our Acropolis tickets in advance, and Stefanos efficiently squired us to all the sites while managing to avoid the heat and crowds (as much as possible given the time of year and number of visitors in Athens). Cold water was provided throughout the day, and the car provided a smooth and comfortable ride. It was a fantastic day - Stefanos and Olive Sea Travel truly created an immersive and memorable experience for our first time in Athens! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing trip. Our tour guide and our driver scheduled our visits to a t. They helped us miss the crowds, not be destroyed by the heat, and they gave us a true Greek experience.

The tour overall was good. Visited the sites we desired. Loved the religious connections. Our driver was nice and knowledgeable, took us to a great restaurant for lunch, but the was not able to go with us to the main attractions. We knew this up front but regretted it afterwards. The provided reach out to me several times asking for passport information which I was not comfortable providing and yet the driver never said anything about it. That’s the main reason for the 3 star rating

We had a good day with our guide Stevie & driver Sunday. They took good care of us. We went to Corinth first to see all the sites there, then back to Athens for those sites. Great timing as we did not encounter huge crowds with the other cruisers! It was also nice to see the smaller Corinth sites before heading to the larger ones in Athens. Our car was always ready & waiting for us, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites & area. I’m really glad we had a guide in addition to the driver because I think we would’ve been a little lost if we had gone into the sites by ourselves.

Guide was great - very cordial. Knew history ver well. Made sure we were comfortable and had enough time at all the stops. Took photos of us with our camera when requested. Made sure we saw the Changing of the Guard at Greece’s tomb of Unknown soldier, which was fascinating - very enjoyable.

We had an incredible day in Athens that made it the highlight of our two week cruise. Our driver Andreas went out of his way to make sure that we had a great tour. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the sights and made sure that we saw all the highlights. Andreas made sure that we had a good understanding of what we would see before we went in as he was not allowed to accompany us inside the locations. He even suggested a fabulous restaurant on our drive to Corinth that was on the water and had the best Greek food any of us had every had. It was just a wonderful day and highly recommend that you request Andreas and truly enjoy this experience.

Not only incredibly knowledgeable of the historical aspects of each destination on the tour, he went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience after the tour. Lisandro was our guide. He was very polite and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions very patiently. The tour started at 8. We were brought to the acropolis and spent 1.5 hrs. Then we drove to the canal which was 1 hr away. Then we drove to Corinth which was only 10 mins from the canal. This is where we saw the church of St Paul. Then after we were dropped off at Old Corinth. Outside there were shops and a very good restaurant where we had our lunch. We went back to Athens with plenty of time and did the Coliseum, Parliament and much more. It’s worth the trip.

The historical sites we visited were awesome! It’s difficult to imagine those structures still standing after all these years. Really enjoyed the changing of the guard at the Presidential palace. Very unique! Our tour guide, Socrates was super! He was very knowledgeable of the area and very accommodating.

Our driver, Lysandross (sic) was great. He was more of a guide than a driver. He made the day totally enjoyable. The changing of the guard at the Presidential home was especially a nice addition. Of course seeing the Acropolis and the other historic sites were great. The trip to Corinth was a little long but well worth the time. The spot our driver/guide choose for lunch was lovely with great food and large portions but not pricey. I highly recommend our driver and this tour.

We visited Greece in November and one of our highlights is the great time we had with Alexander. He gave us great information and was very patient with us, even when we spent more time at some places. He got us to different parts of Athens and Corinth and was very friendly, teaching us Greek words, and answering our questions related to the culture and the political aspect of the country. Fantastic experience! Tas was super chill and let my wife (who's pregnant) and I see Athens and Corinth at our own pace. The restaurant he took us to was also really good. Fotis was really knowledgeable and guided us throughout the day. This trip is totally worth it, where we could see the important places in Athens and akcopolis in a single day. Our time in Athens and Corinth could not have been better! Our guide, Alex, was absolutely fantastic! I cannot say enough good about him! He was perfectly organized which allowed us to see as many sights as possible in 1 day. After our conversations throughout the day he even stopped at a few extra places he thought we might like. It was a very hot day and he had cold water waiting for us. The restaurant he brought us to for lunch was so yummy and he was kind enough to join us! There could not have been a better guide/host than Alex. He met us right on time (even early) at the cruise terminal and was a fun, gracious guide for a full day tour. He got us to the Acropolis ahead of both the heat and the crowds. Then on to other Athens sites before heading to Corinth for the afternoon. We lunched together at a great restaurant in Corinth and Alex was part of the family. Highly recommend a private tour versus a bus group. Perfect day in Greece.
