Missed Our Connection and Decided to Make the Most of It!

We were supposed to be traveling through Amsterdam en route to our home back in the US. When we missed our connecting flight and found ourselves having to overnight with a rebooked flight in the late afternoon of the following day, we decided to make the most of it and booked a last minute half-day tour of Amsterdam with Viator. What started out as a travel fiasco no thanks to our missed flight became an enjoyable capstone to our holiday! We took in Amsterdam by car (a necessity due to my wife’s disability- she’d broken her foot while on holiday in Greece) and even got to spend time enjoying the local pastries and coffee at one of the cities many coffee shops. Great wsy to visit Amsterdam

Ruben wad great. Very friendly abd knowledgeable. Greay guy and very accommodating. In that he eadily alter our trip to skip stuff we already did and replaced them eith other interesting stops.

Just the type of tour we wanted. A good way to see a lot of Amsterdam in a short period of time.

We arrived from the USA early morning. Was settled in at hotel (arranged for early check in) and ready to go for our 1:30 pm 4 hr private city tour. Picked us up at our hotel. Just my hubby and I and Ruben the driver. We was very informative about the historical aspects and pointed out main tourist areas of AMSTERDAM. It was perfect for what we wanted. My husband and I have some temporary mobility issues so riding around in the car was perfect for us. It was raining too so another good thing not to be out and about in the elements. That said we DID get out a few times to see some sites. I could highly recommend for adults to do .
