Sal was our chef and he was wonderful! He moved around the table to demonstrate and assist and he seemed to speak to every person individually. The communal table was great and we met a bunch of people traveling from all over. The food was delicious! A fun night!

Delightful dining and drinking in Florence
This tour was such an enjoyable experience! Catalina took us to 5 stops, where we tried local specialties and delicious wines. She is a level one sommelier, so she could add context and expertise to our experience. My favorite stop was the King of Cheese shop, the owners were so welcoming and happy to entertain us. We were able to buy some cheese at the cheese shop, order from a REAL wine window (and see several defunct ones on the way) and end our night with gelato.

Fantastic Experience at Wine Tasting Villa and Dinner
Such a great experience. Val, our tour guide was awesome, she provided lots of information regarding the history of Florence, the wine countries and so much more. The first vineyard was absolutely beautiful! Matteo, the host at the vineyard was wonderful. He shared information about the stunning villa, the vineyard, the wine process. It was very informative. We had delicious appetizers and tasted a variety of wines. It was well organzed for a group of 25 people. We left the vineyard and traveled about 40 minutes on a winding, bumpy road the the hilltop of another vineyard where we were greated by a wonderful host with wine tasting, dinner and gelato (made at our table). The tour lasted about 6.5 hours. It was awesome and would highly recommend!

The transportation was a two-deck bus which was very comfortable. The driver, Antonio, did an excellent job. Our guide, Sara D., was amazing. She was funny, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. The train trips were very crowded but, luckily, short. The towns we saw, Vernazza and Monterosso, were very charming and it was great to finally see these colorful towns in person.

All stone villages, olive groves, and cypress trees dotted around rolling green hills: Tuscany is where all your Italian countryside dreams come true. And when it comes to its cities, Florence, Siena, and Pisa have enough Renaissance architecture to make your Italian urban dreams come true, too. The best way to discover the region’s history, countryside, and cuisine is with a guide—and there’s no shortage of Tuscany tours to help. Go wine tasting in Chianti, get the lowdown on the art in Florence’s Uffizi Gallery, visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, see the best of Siena on foot, and more.
