As a solo traveler, finding an experience that feels genuinely inclusive without being forced can be tough. Our guide, Kevin, was great—friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job bringing the group together and making everyone feel welcome. The tour itself was fantastic and incredibly generous. There was an absolute abundance of delicious food and drinks throughout the evening. Beyond just eating, the overall experience was excellent, especially getting a real introduction to Korean food culture, drinking customs, and local games. Great tour to learn about the history of the DMZ

This was a great tour to learn about the DMZ and the history. Our guide Nancy was great and had a lot of energy. The only caveat is that there wasn’t much of a heads-up about the uphill walking there is on several legs of the tour. If you’re not in the best of shape, it could be challenging especially the tunnel part.

Informative one day tour to DMZ

The tour was interesting and informative thanks to our excellent guide, Jay. I really liked the short but detailed recap of the Korean War. Meeting the North Korean defector was a very warm experience, and having the opportunity to visit the Third Tunnel was the cherry on top. Thank you! If the JSA ever opens for tourism again, I will definitely do this tour a second time.

A Must Tour

The pick up time for this tour was 5:30 but being picked up from my hotel made it worthwhile. Joo-Ee was a great guide and made an already interesting trip even better by providing a lot of historical information and lighthearted jokes. By being so early we were able to secure tickets also for the 3rd Tunnel rail and had the Suspension Bridge all for ourselves. A full on day and a must tour while in Seul.

We had a wonderful all-day private DMZ tour with Joseph and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Korea. Joseph was kind, personable, and really took the time to get to know our family. He has a great personality and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. His English was excellent, and he did a fantastic job explaining the history of the DMZ and the relationship between North and South Korea. He gave us just the right amount of background and made everything easy to understand. One of the things we really appreciated was how many pictures and videos he took of our family throughout the day. It was such a nice touch and gave us some great memories without us having to worry about constantly taking photos ourselves. Joseph made the experience feel very personal and never rushed. By the end of the day, it felt like we had spent the day with someone we knew rather than just a tour guide. We are very glad we chose a private DMZ tour, and Joseph made it one of the highlights of our trip to Korea. We would absolutely recommend him to friends and family.

This trip was very well run. We covered a lot of ground with Hee Soo as our guide. She was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time with her.
