Southern Great Wall was a great alternative to the 'northern' Great Wall since we were staying in Shanghai. Our tour guide Jordan prepared the itinerary nicely for us, and made sure of proper transportation. He provided the unique history behind the Southern GW as we walked, then led us through the streets of the local town of Linhai with small shops and markets, before a nice lunch at a tucked away restaurant. We completed the tour through East Lake, which was near the head of the SGW. We enjoyed the experience from beginning to end!

Amazing 1/2 day in Zhujiajiao from Shanghai

This was such a great day in Zhujiajiao with door to door pick up and drop off from our Shanghai hotel. If you are staying in or near Shanghai coming to Zhujiajiao is a must and full of many enjoyable experiences. The historic gardens, shop lined alleys, tea tasting, and traditional “Gondola” style boat ride were great experiences and provided a great many excellent pictures and memories. Our highly knowledgeable guide Jan was excellent and made the day all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent tour and much more comprehensive than expected. Sally, our excellent guide, was very knowledgable and entertaining. She guided us through the various security checks, explained the history of the places we visited, told us many stories and was an absolute delight. Another thing we liked was being on a small group tour - there were 10 of us. It felt much more personal.

We booked this tour as it came with a private driver. Our driver was absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure we were at ease, comfortable and did not get lost. He accompanied us on the shuttle bus and even stood in the queue with us until we got on the cable car. Would most definitely recommend this tour.. I am terrified of heights but going up to the Great Wall in the open top cable car and tobogganing back down was absolutely amazing. Loved every minute of it. Would most definitely recommend.

Fantastic tour with an excellent guide
