This was a great...

This was a great introduction to the city. We walked about 1.5 miles and we sampled cheese, fish, stroopwaffles, French fries, and apple pie. We got full servings of many of the items and they were all high quality. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth of food. Leo was a great guide, providing historical and cultural information.

Santiago was a terrific guide for all passengers, and he was very impressive as he could communicate in multiple languages. The Anne Frank walking tour was excellent! Our tour guide, Nicole, was intelligent, articulate, well-versed on WW2and the story of the Frank family. She was also sensitive to the plight of the Jewish people and those on the tour who had lost family members in the Holocaust. We highly recommend the tour.

We had a wonderful canal cruise with the Captain Jack cruise company. Lon, our boat driver and tour leader, was excellent. His background history of Amsterdam helped the city come alive and really filled out my understanding of its importance in world history. Lon also included lots of personal and sometimes funny anecdotes to further help us understand the city's importance. The drinks and Dutch treats were a nice touch and appreciated by everyone. My husband and I also enjoyed the open air experience of the tour, which made it possible to clearly see important sites.

We had a fantastic canal cruise in Amsterdam on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. It was one of the highlights of our trip and definitely one of the best experiences we had in Amsterdam. Our lady captain was absolutely fantastic — very friendly, professional and cool. She had a beautiful English accent and gave us lots of interesting information about Amsterdam’s history, as well as recent events and interesting places and venues around the city. We really enjoyed every minute of the cruise and would definitely recommend this tour to our family and friends. Learned a lot and had fun!!

We took an evening boat tour and it was lovely! Our captain and guide, Nunzio, was a fantastic storyteller and made the tour all the more fun. We got to see the two smallest houses in Amsterdam and learned a lot about the city design and architecture. There were drinks for sale, which we didn’t have, but I appreciated the option - beer, wine, soda, and water. It was very hot on the day we took our tour so it was a bit uncomfortable for the first 15-20 min until the sun went down a bit. The boat provides some umbrellas for shade which was a nice touch.

A day at Van Gogh Museum !

It was a great experience. We had the self guided tour which we paid in advance. If you did not you would need to pay for the audio equipment at the museum. The self guided y Tour was very easy to navigate. It’s crowded but you can’t get lost. We learned a lot about Van Gough life. To see the art collection up and close was amazing! The gift shops are great. Make sure you bring money for souvenirs!
