It was so amazing to be down in the same hallways that gladiators used. Hard to comprehend, really. I will be back to do it again! I highly recommend this tour. I'm still thinking about it and looking at my pictures.

We never got to see the colosseum that we paid for - we were told our tickets were invalid and we did not yet get a refund .

Turned away from out tour that we paid £270 for guide with full experience. Really upsetting. We had to queue for over an hour to buy tickets there very disappointing

We didn't see the time change for this tour. Calling this a VIP tour is wrong. There is zero VIP treatment. We got no phone call. We got to the area via taxi and found no one anywhere with Viator. We booked nothing online because Viator had my entry pass. The day was ruined. We spent over an hour trying to find someone to talk to. The phones don't work. We had American And Italian cell and data. We will return to Rome to do this tour again because we had no clue what we saw.

Be aware the time was changed. We did the underground tour. This was our second time taking this tour. They have added some exhibits since our first time that were I treating.
We did the forum first. We went early enough that there wasn’t as large of a crowd. When we finished the tour and looked over at the forum area, it was packed with people next to each other: I highly encourage taking the earliest tour you can get.
You can take the best photos of the colosseum by where the group meets. Go up some stairs and walk towards the colosseum area.
I think you will love the underground tour. You have to buy a separate ticket to go to the top level.

Not great. Our whole tour was not granted access. Had to pay and go on the most basic tour. Our guide who was not through viator but private helped us through and was wonderful getting a new entry and still guiding us through, but So disappointed.

This tour of the Colosseum, including the underground, and the Forum was excellent. The tour guide was very good, and provided clear, concise explanations including the relevant history. I recommend this tour and this tour guide.

Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to be in the sun. Bring water. Tour started early so be punctual.

Amazing and informative of how the colosseum was utilized in the ancient Roman times. I wish we were able to understand the tour guide better due to his accent. But overall it was very informative.

The place to redeem the vouchers does not exist. Calling the number available in the app went unanswered. Don’t waste your money dealing with this tour. Viator requested a refund for me but it was denied summarily.

We had such a great experience and learned so much while exploring the Roman Forum and Colosseum Underground. Sofian was an excellent guide and story teller. Not only did he add some humor here and there, but he did a great job choosing which details to include and which to omit to keep the timeline on track and everybody in the group engaged the entire time. Highly recommend this experience!

The colosseum guide was a hard to understand at times. This company has way too many different tours. The meeting spot was supposed to be visible by the guide wearing a tshirt and the person holding a flag, but the big group had tour guides wearing other tshirts for other tours and signs for the other tours. I even called and sent a message to the company…the phone went straight to voicemail and I received a text response a week later, which is laughable. I was worried we would miss it and my child would be out of a tour. I was lucky because another tour guide for another company helped me. So, I’d say the administrative side of the company is terrible…looked like a bunch of kids, but the main tour guide was great.

The tour began a little rocky as the meeting point is outside and the employees were not marked as advertised at all. I think the company works under several names. Thankfully we asked someone with a clipboard where the address was we were seeking and it happened to be our tour group. It seemed very disorganized, no one was taking lead on giving people direction and when someone asked questions the woman working was very curt. Eventually we were brought together as a group and the Nicholi, our tour arrived and he was awesome. From that point on the tour was amazing! He was a wealth of knowledge, very professional. He kept the tour interesting, 3 hours went by so fast! My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much, the guide completely saved the day. The business side of things definitely needs improvement.

Wonderful experience! Guide was very knowledgeable. They gave out headsets so we could hear the guide - make sure your tour has these. Try to go early. We had the 8am tour and we were the first group through the underground, which I think is worth the extra money. Throughout the tour, stop to be amazed of the wonder and awe of the history of the Colosseum. It was genuinely a tour not to miss!

Communication seemed poor among staff and to tour guide guests. We arrived “late” and they said that we needed to be there 45 mins before. Able to get back with group to see colosseum thank goodness but got told a wrong time yet again. Individuals in the tour group were discussing how the time they said versus listed was not accurate. Seems others had similar problems.
Our tour guide was phenomenal! She made it all worth it.

Crazy cold and rain day, but that did not stop our guide, Daniella S! She was full of great information throughout the tour! From the start of Rome to the building of the Colosseum and even details about the frescos than have been uncovered in the Forum. A guide can really make or break your tour and I would highly suggest this tour! Getting to walk the underground was so interesting and something that is worth the extra cost when you are considering what Colosseum tour to pick.
