Loved our Pompeii tour! 🌋
Our 3-hour tour hit the highlights and finished at the Villa of the Mysteries. Yolanda was a fantastic guide: friendly, professional and knowledgeable! Pompeii is a big site, so having an expert show you around and put things in context is essential for a short visit. You can also stay on afterwards to explore on your own. Highly recommend!

Amazing small group tour
Fabulous tour. Well organised and incredibly informative. Our guide was so passionate about his job and the constant discoveries that archeologists are still making. With his stories, he made Pompeii come to life. He shared photos on his phone of recent discoveries and answered all our questions. We were part of a group of 20, but because his English was good and we were given ear pieces, it was not a problem at all. When our tour was finished (after 2 hours), my husband and I wondered through the areas that we had not seen Thorough enjoyed it.

Lunch by the sea
Pompeii was wonderful, but the trip to Sorrento was amazing. Lunch by the sea was delicious, and they catered to those with special needs or allergies. They were very attentive to detail. Luca was a wonderful guide. He played photographer for us at stopping points, and he saw to it that we sampled local specialties like pastries, coffees, and lemon ice (and limoncello). What a glorious day!

Highlight of our trip
This tour and lunch were the highlight of our trip. Sonia was an amazing tour guide and she helped us imagine what life would have been like in that time. She was full of knowledge and I don’t think it would have been the same experience without her. The lunch at the winery at the base of Mt. Vesuvius was excellent! The best food we had on that part of our trip (and the wine pairings were really nice).

Pompeii is the crown jewel of Italy’s archaeological treasure trove, but this ancient site is sprawling and offers little posted information explaining its jumble of ruins. Pompeii tours bring the history of the Roman city to life with archaeologist guides who provide insights about its excavated art and architecture, focusing on the highlights to cover the site in just a few hours. Pair Pompeii with a guided visit to nearby Herculaneum, a wine-tasting lunch in the surrounding vineyards, a hike to the volcanic crater atop Mt. Vesuvius, or a scenic excursion along the Amalfi Coast for an unforgettable day trip.
