What are people saying about Parma

When you REALLY immerse yourself....
This was great. It's not often that we really get to immerse ourselves into a true understanding and appreciation for where some of the most extra special products in the world are made. These foods are true artisan products, and this tour helped me understand just how particularly unique that is today. The cheese and prosciutto makers have dedicated their lives to this in ways most of us can not understand. Bring your kids!! Both the cheese and prosciutto factory tours were outstanding. Meeting the guide was easy. It was the driver plus the guide, and she was very knowledgable. We asked a few questions for which she wasn't sure of the answer, so she asked the owners and translated for us as well. The tasting was plentiful, and they were so happy we loved the products and wanted to keep eating! It was a huge highlight to take the photo with Claudio, the prosciutto maker, as he is the sole owner/operator/artisan of his factory. There was a bond as he spent time with us, was appreciative of our visit, and proud of his product, eager to slice the prosciutto for us, taking immense and sincere joy in our enjoyment. We learned every step of both cheese and prosciutto making, visiting each step, spending plenty of time understand each step. No time wasted, perfect day.

Culinary highlight of our trip!!
Roberta was an absolute delight to spend the afternoon with! My friend and I are big foodies and not only was the food selection unique and amazing, Roberta was so knowledgeable about the rigorous process vendors go through to produce the high-quality food which made the tour extremely interesting. Everything was really beyond our expectations and we highly recommend this tour if you’re going to the beautiful city of Parma. 5 plus stars for Roberta, the food selection, and the tour!

Very interesting and educational experience! The guided tour allowed us to discover all the phases of Parmigiano Reggiano production, from the cows to the finished cheese. A truly pleasant visit, well explained and recommended to anyone who wants to get to know the tradition and processing of this typical product up close.

Spectacular day trip!
Absolutely wonderful tour! Mattia, our guide, was so knowledgeable about all the local products and could answer all our questions. The small group was a perfect size, and the transport was great - not too much time in the car for 3 different stops! Would highly recommend if you are visiting Parma.

Smack-dab in Emilia-Romagna—the Italian region responsible for Parma ham, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and aceto balsamico di Modena, among other government-protected delicacies—Parma is all about food. Visit real-deal cheese, prosciutto, and vinegar producers on popular Parma tours, learning how these specialties are made and enjoying plenty of tastings along the way. If you’d rather stay in the city, local food experts can show you where to get the best bites while also pointing out Parma’s renowned Romanesque architecture and picturesque piazzas.
