I saw a snake!

We had a wonderful experience with Nana! She took such good care of us. We started the tour with a beautiful drive to the waterfall, we stopped for breakfast (not part of the tour, but part of the caretaking, it's hard to enjoy yourself when you're hangry) and had a nice sit down meal with an explanation of what we could expect during the day. We enjoyed everything that was listed in the description. What was not mentioned was how much each guide would go out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit. We saw sloths, frogs, a beautiful snake and with some much needed help, we got amazing photos that we are taking credit for. i go to grind coffee and taste fresh cocoa beans and learn about the history of Costa Rica. We also had an amazing Costa Rican lunch. It was money and time well spent.

Perfect to see it all with kids

A great mix of seeing a little bit of everything the area offers with a bit of knowledge of nature mixed in. My 4 year old was able to handle the hiking (mild carrying her through the canopy tour). Got to see the rainforest, where we saw snakes, monkeys, birds, and tarantulas. The waterfall the was beautiful. And the volcano was very educational. Lunch was good and offered a kid option as well

What a fun day!!!!

William and Marvin are great guides. They kept us up to date with the itinerary and shared the cultural and historical significance at each stop. We got a legit ecology lesson from William at Arenal. He explained how after the volcano eruption, the surrounding landscape and climate created a unique and very favorable climate that led to the rapid growth of a very biodiverse forest/jungle. Typically this would take hundreds of years but at Arenal, this only took 50 years. Anyway, both William and Marvin are wonderful guides, and our driver, Cha Cha, drove us around safely. It was a pleasure to spend a day with this crew.

Professional and Friendly all around

Excellent experience!!! It was my first time, my husband and MIL had done it, but the guides were extremely professional and experienced in making visitors comfortable and safe. Instructions were clear and we had so much fun interacting with them all day! They kept an eye out for people in our party who needed to take their time between platforms and were nothing but encouraging and lively. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Oh - BUY THE PICTURES!!! Super good quality and they actually take from flattering angles 🤣

Don't Leave Costa Rica Before Doing This Tour!

This was an incredibly fun adventure! Our guide was great and we were on 3 different terrains. One thing I would suggest is a bit more instructions on how you handle the ATV when you get to uneven areas. Using the brake at the wrong time, versus just letting up on the gas is an important detail. I did get banged once. But all was well. Would highly recommend this tour!

One of the best days of our lives!

We had such an amazing experience on our excursion in Costa Rica! Our tour guide, Bernie, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He was extremely knowledgeable about Costa Rica, the wildlife, the history, and the area, and he made the entire experience both fun and educational. Most importantly, we always felt safe and well taken care of. Bernie was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout the entire excursion. You could truly tell how passionate he is about what he does and how much he genuinely cares about giving people a great experience. The best time!

We had the best time! This was an amazing experience. We traveled with a party of 7 including 3 kids. The class 2/3 was perfect for the whole family. The kids had a blast! And out captain Colon was awesome! Spotted lots of wildlife while floating on the calmer areas of the river also which was a cool bonus! The fruit stop was delicious and the food provided in our tour was amazing also! If you want to do any rafting in the area I highly recommend!!!!

This was such a fun and...

This was such a fun and adventurous experience for my active family (kids ages 10 and 13). Each rappel was different but all led to the large 230 foot rappel. The guides made us feel very safe and did not pressure you into doing the biggest rappel. They also made recommendations based on skill. For example, my 10 year old opted just to watch the rest of us do the biggest rappel and that was just fine. A must-do for those who love a bit of adventure and stepping out of your comfort zone in a safe environment. We have Keen type closed toe sandal shoes but opted to wear running shoes with good tread as the rocks are slippery. Happy we did. Also, prepare to get soaked and to hike. Would not be a good fit for those who suffer from knee/ankle problems or for those who are very out of shape.

The sun set catamaran was amazing!!! We brought our family of 8, ages 70s to 8 years old. It was fun!!! We had the opportunity to paddle board, snorkel and just swimming in the ocean. The food was amazing, tacos, salad, pasta salad and chips. We had unlimited drinks! The hospitality by Angel, Luis and Erick was amazing! We saw dolphins!
