Top Costa Rica Whale Watching

Our Nicaragua day tour from Tamarindo was one of the highlights of our Central America trip. The experience was seamless, well-organized, and full of unforgettable stops. Paul and Claudio took excellent care of us throughout the day, making the long journey comfortable, informative, and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the smooth assistance during immigration both entering and leaving Nicaragua. Everything was handled efficiently, and we felt safe and well taken care of every step of the way with Paul and Claudio guiding us throughout the process. Highlights included the stunning views from Mirador de Catarina overlooking Apoyo Lagoon and seeing the active crater at Masaya Volcano up close. In Granada, we explored the historic streets on a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride and enjoyed a quick chocolate tour where we learned about the chocolate-making process and sampled fresh local chocolate. We also ended the day with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Nicaragua, including views of Monkey Island. It was a long but very rewarding day, combining volcanoes, culture, history, chocolate, and nature into one unforgettable experience. Staff is kind, friendly, professional, and patient. I personally struggled with a class due to my nerves and anxiety. However, the staff was very patient with me even with extra time to help me get comfortable enough to dive. Personally, I was unable to do the activity, but I would recommend this to anyone that wants to try scuba. This is a great place to learn mainly because of how patient thorough and understanding the staff is. Big thanks to Ramon for spending extra time in the water with me trying to help me get comfortable with the activity and equipment!

This was my first time zip lining and I was really nervous. Our guides Bryan, Daniel and Eliot were amazing! They were calm, kind and reassuring and very serious about safety. We started with the Tarzan swing which was the scariest part of the tour. It was pretty nerve racking but I’m so glad I did it. The rest of the zip lining was just great fun with wonderful views. I took my phone in a cross body bum bag and no one had a problem with me taking videos of my husband, which I’d read can be a problem with other tours. The guides took lots of photos on a DSLR which came out really well and we were happy to pay the $25 for all the photos of us from the tour. They emailed them over within a couple of days and they were easy to download via Google drive. Costa Rica is generally so expensive and we thought this tour was the best value for money we got on our entire 12 day trip. I’m so glad I picked this company and we even saw a big coati and a quetzal!
