A Wonderful Experience — Highlight of Our Two-Week European Trip!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour! In fact, my aunt called it the highlight of our two-week European vacation through Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich. That says a lot considering all the wonderful places we visited! Our tour guide, Daisy, and our fantastic bus driver/barista went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made the entire day truly special. The bus was spacious and extremely comfortable, and the excellent snacks and drinks were a lovely touch that made the journey even more enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully organized, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommended, and a big thank-you to Daisy and the entire team for making this such a wonderful memory for our family!

Jessie is a great guide but wrap up warm

Wrap up warm!!, around half the visit onsite is outside. There is a café for hot drinks and food but it’s at the beginning and end. No eating/drinking in the camp itself. Our guide Jessie was very knowledgeable and easy to understand, especially with her amplification system. It’s a very sobering experience but something everyone should do. Thank you Jessie 👍🏻❤️

Great experience all around! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable and all the logistics ran very smoothly. The castles were super cool!!! The tour did a nice job of balancing between time with the group and time to explore at leisure; I never felt rushed nor that I was waiting around. Delicious Old town Munich foodie tour.

WOW! This foodie walking tour did not disappoint! And it was accompanied by ongoing narrative from Tetiana, our excellent guide, about the food origins as well as local history of the sights we were passing. We had at least 10 tastings, at 5 sites, of savory and sweet and 2 beers and one wine (or non-alc alternative). One of the sites included a typical local meal of sausages, potato salad and spaetzl (noodles with cheese). Each of the sites had its own story, character and ambiance. Highly recommend this. We chose the 3 pm tour so that the tastings gave us the equivalent of our evening meal. It was a convivial group and no one left hungry least of all us.

Our initial choice with...

Our initial choice with Viator was to take a trip to Eagles Nest, however, it was burned down the day before our travel. We quickly called Viator and they canceled and refunded our money immediately and then we rebooked for Salzburg. Booking completed on the ap and all this took between the call and the booking about 20 min. The office in Munich was easy to find, reception person extremely friendly. It was predicted to rain all day which didn't stop the 18 people who went on this tour. Susan was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and thorough. Took us through a walking tour of Salzburg first then we had 2.5 hours or so on our own. Our train had a snafu and didn't leave on time but she kept us apprised of what was going on. It was a long day, but despite the weather very enjoyable and it was a pleasure to meet people from other countries on this tour. I'm sure the train ride would have been gorgeous had it been a lovely day but we can't control the weather.

We got engaged!

We had an amazing day on this tour. Dimitri suggested an alternative overlook for Neuschwanstein that was beautiful. It was so lovely and private enough my partner decided to propose and we got engaged! We were glad we toured the inside of both castles, they were really amazing. Excellent Private Tour — Highly Recommend David!

We had a great experience on our private tour to Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Palace, and Oberammergau. Our driver and tour guide, David, was excellent. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with throughout the entire day. During the drives, David shared interesting information about the area, its history, and each of the places we were visiting. It made the drive enjoyable and gave us a better understanding of what we were seeing. His recommendation for lunch was also excellent. Neuschwanstein Castle was amazing and definitely something you have to see in person. However, we actually enjoyed Linderhof even more. It is much smaller and feels more like a villa or royal home, but the interior was a definite wow. The detail and craftsmanship were incredibly impressive, and the grounds and gardens were just as impressive. The private tour made the entire day easy and relaxing. The on-time pickup and drop-off right at our hotel was also great and made the day even more convenient. We were able to sit back, enjoy the scenery, and let David take care of everything. Highly recommend this tour and especially David. Sit back, relax, enjoy the drive, and take in all the information and incredible sights along the way!
