What are people saying about Madeira

Fantastic boat safari - definitely recommended
Wow, wow, wow.. what an experience. Both Ricardo’s were excellent guides. We saw blue spotted and also striped dolphins (between 40 and 60 of them), and then later two separate families of Pilot whales. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information of the dolphins and whales that we saw. Ricardo (the captain) was able to throw in a couple of surprises at the end of the tour 😂😂

10/10 recommend sunrise booking
100% recommend booking with these guys! Luis was our driver and he was super friendly and always happy to answer any questions, even for so early in the morning he had a smile on his face! We were so lucky with the weather and caught a beautiful sunrise and the stairway to heaven was just as beautiful

Great adventure!
Great experience from beginning to the end. We started the trip with spotting a monk seal in the harbour and then spending time watching a very close distance pilot whales pod for a while. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable which made the experience even more interesting.

Fun afternoon on the Santa Maria do Colombo!
This was our second trip on the Santa Maria do Colombo having enjoyed it so much the first time! The boat trip was lovely and relaxing along the coast from Funchal to Cabo Girão and once there we were given the opportunity to swim for half an hour or so. On the way back we were offered a glass of Madeira and a slice of bolo de Mel, which was a nice touch. A great afternoon was had by all and we’ll look forward to doing it again in the future!

Just off the coast of Africa, Madeira is a Portuguese island renowned for its lush green landscapes and dramatic cliffs. Madeira tours let you hone in on each facet of the island’s identity—whether you’re dolphin and whale watching in the Atlantic Ocean, hiking along the UNESCO-listed aqueducts, or discovering rugged volcanic landscapes in a 4WD. More relaxing pursuits include soaking in geothermal pools and cruising in a catamaran at sunset, while high-octane adventures such as canyoneering and trekking to the island’s highest peak are sure to get your heart pumping.
