We had a great experience touring the Azores with Pedro. From the moment we met him, it was clear how much he loves his island and enjoys sharing it with others. His knowledge went far beyond typical tour information. He taught us about the history, culture, local communities, food, and the many flowers and plants that make the Azores unique. Every stop included interesting stories and insights that helped us appreciate the island more deeply. What stood out most was his dedication to making sure we had the best experience possible. If weather or visibility wasn't cooperating at one location, he would take us somewhere else so we could still enjoy beautiful views and make the most of our time. The tour was excellent, and I especially enjoyed seeing Pedro’s genuine passion for his home. His enthusiasm made us appreciate the Azores even more. Great tour of West Sao Miguel

Bernardo did an excellent job guiding our group through the western portion of Sao Miguel. The views of the coast were breathtaking. Unfortunately, a heavy fog moved in and obliterated the destinations of higher altitude, namely Sete Cidades and Fogo. We were able to hike through a wooded area with intriguing native plants and had a great buffet lunch, featuring a wide variety of local dishes to sample. He was very apologetic about the weather conditions, but I've grown to learn that this is the way of the Azores. Bernardo was very personable, engaging and informative. I would definitely recommend this tour, but waiting until June might assure better weather.

A potentially beautiful day

The guide, Raul Damasio, is wonderful especially given an extremely challenging day of dense fog. We didn't see any of the sights on the agenda. Deeply disappointing given the iconic nature of Sete Cidades. Raul did his best and we did end up closing the day with a visit to a gorgeous waterfall. The tour should have been cancelled. The fog was terrible. Zero visibility for the majority of the day.

Our tuk tuk guide Tomas was a delight to spend a couple of hours with. Professional, knowledgeable, good stories, good driver, personable, respectful and fun. Best tour of our time in Azores

On our e-bike around Sete Cidades the weather started off cold and wet. Warren , our guide asked us several times if we still wanted to go and told us we could get a refund if we wanted to stop. We all wanted to continue. Even in the cold and blustery winds we had the best time. Warren was informative and made sure we all were good the whole time. The scenery was fabulous and the information was great. I would do this again any chance given. Don't let a little wind deter you as the weather got sunny and a tad warmer down by the lake. Cannot recommend this tour enough.

Challenge yourself to an memorable and offbeat activity

Expect fun and facing new challeges. The hike up was UP but took several breaks before getting in the creek heading down. The guides are really helpful to insure safety and good education for each repel, jump and how to walk in the creek with boulders. There is an area by the shop to change your swim suit to dry clothes. I came on a cruise ship to Ponta Delgada. I walked across the street to the Grand Hotel where I was picked up. All safe and not confusing. About a 45 min drive to the park. I am a active 76 yr old female. The hike and water activities were not to difficult but you need some sense to walk in, around and over rocks. Please go and make a forever memory in the most beautiful and safe jungle I have enjoyed. Cheryl from Oregon
