A memorable day in Isafjordur!
This shore excursion was perfect for our family. Bus Travel Iceland was professional and easy to work with and kept in frequent contact with us before the excursion. Tom was both our driver and guide and he was excellent and entertaining. He got us to the waterfall quickly and safely and in addition to providing history and cultural information, our kids said the bus ride itself was their favorite part because he was so funny! We had sufficient time to hike to the top of the stunning waterfall and the farm visit on the way back was a nice break to have a snack in a beautiful fjord and see the cute farm animals.

Excellent tour of the region around Reykjavík
This was an Excellent tour and a great way to see multiple nature sites of Iceland around Reykjavík. Victoria was an excellent, abeit quirky yet lovable guide for this long tour. And while it can seem very long, no driving portion was more than an hour with several stops that included food & bathroom breaks.
Magic Mike was our driver and did a great job without any aggressive driving or excessive braking. And I greatly appreciated his having both doors open at each stop which facilitated quick boarding and leaving. The coach had comfortable seats, 5G wifi, and USB & C-type plugs for each 2 seats. Would use this company again.
Lastly, encourage Victoria to not use the expletive J**** C***** in her talking as that was offensive to me as a Christian.

Explore Heimaey
Ebbi is a lifelong resident of Heimaey and regaled us with interesting stories about his town. In just a short amount of time we covered all the important sites of the area. Besides sharing many interesting facts, he was also quite amusing. It’s a very well-run tour.

Golden Circle a Golden Day
Al (“just call me Al” because real Icelandic name was unpronounceable for we amateurs!) was a terrific driver/guide. Shared his vast knowledge and wit. We had the perfect amount of time at each stop on the Golden Circle route. He kept us well-informed about the timings at every stop. Pickups were right on time and the tour ended on time, just as promised. Al made the tour truly memorable and a great day!

A ‘must do’ day trip from Reykjavik
An excellent day trip to some classic spectacular sites in Iceland. Although busy spending some time relaxing at the Secret Lagoon was a bonus. Our guide Edgar was really friendly and so willing to share his knowledge about Iceland. We were also very lucky with the weather which was another bonus to our trip.

I had a nice tour...
I had a nice tour overall, though there weren’t as many whale sightings as I had hoped. I really enjoyed the RIB boat—it made the experience exciting. We did see dolphins, and we got fairly close to Puffin Island, although visibility from my side wasn’t great.
Wildlife tours can be a bit of a dice roll in terms of what you’ll see, but the experience was still worthwhile. The staff and guides were professional, friendly, and informative throughout.

Fantastic!
This was the best tour during my time in Iceland! I can’t recommend it enough, if you have the chance to do the tour with Helgi I really recommend it. He was an excellent guide, funny, informative and accommodating. The snaefellsness peninsula is a must see, if you’re thinking of renting a car to do on your own don’t — join one of these tours they’re incredible.

I had an incredible...
I had an incredible experience on the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach tour. Our guide and driver, Fioss, made the entire day memorable with his knowledge, storytelling, and genuine passion for Iceland’s history, culture, and landscapes.
Although the tour was long (about 15.5 hours), every minute was worth it. Along the journey, we stopped at several stunning waterfalls and breathtaking viewpoints. One of the highlights was when Fioss took us to his “favorite spot”—an unbelievable view of a lagoon where a lush green mountain seemed to connect with an icy glacier-covered mountain in the distance. It was one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen.
Before arriving at Glacier Lagoon, Fioss told us about the optional boat tour that takes you closer to the glaciers. We were able to add that experience on the spot, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the day. Seeing the glaciers up close was absolutely unforgettable.
Despite being a full-day excursion, this tour is perfect for anyone who is short on time but wants to experience some of Iceland’s most spectacular natural wonders. The scenery was breathtaking, the stops were well planned, and Fioss’s stories and local insights made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this tour!

A Golden Day from start to finish
Your only concern is getting to the BSI bus terminal.
You get there, your work is done. Reykjavik Excursions is a well oiled machine. Keep your eye on the timetable for your scheduled bus to the Golden Circle and don't forget your bus number.
The drive out to Thingvellir and back from Gulfoss are the longest legs of the trip. Plan accordingly.
Those seven hours go by quicker than you think, so savor every minute of them.

Great experience. Highly recommend
Lagoon experience was amazing.
Bius Tickets - we and the transport staff were however unclear where to get paper/device tickets transferred but bus staff and lagoon staff proved helpful. It was unclear what the correct bus company was, even with barcode in hand. Some improved instructions on the confirmation would be useful but regardless, of the hiccup, staff were lovely and very helpful, it was an amazing experience once we got there. It would have only been better if the bus operators weren’t confused by whose bus we should be on. The confirmation didn’t state the bus company and provide the correct references. Both bus drivers were very confused. Paperwork info needs broadening to include bus company details in case of issue. So please check with the operator before you leave and get written confirmation details . We wasted a good half an hour - 15 mins both ends, with people not knowing if we were there customers. This meant we kept getting moved from one bus to another by drivers. It was slightly embarrassing.

Wonders of the south tour
A long but amazing day. We encountered heavy snow and a blizzard but all the sights were still amazing. We particularly enjoyed the walk to the glazier. Coach was very comfortable and warm on a cold and snowy day. Glad we did not hire a car and booked a coach tour. Albert ( tour guide) was very knowledgable and friendly

10/10 recommend!
I had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Al, was incredibly friendly and informative. We were able to stop at a lot of awesome places, and I feel like we had a good amount of time at each one. With how far away some of the destinations are, I was worried bathroom breaks would be limited, but there were plenty of opportunities for this (in addition to opportunities to get lunch/snacks/drinks). I had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this tour!
