We had the most insightful, fun and knowledgeable guide! Experiencing the Golden Circle with the Farm and Greenhouse was an incredible combination that helped us connect with the awe-inspiring nature. Helgi was an attentive, personable, hilarious and wonderfully nerdy guide (hello fellow Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan!) who elevated our experience. His in-depth commentary, great recommendations and thoughtful answers livened the mood and made for an incredible time around Iceland’s breathtaking scenery. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

The trip is a full day driving and sightseeing experience. Our driver and guide, Ottar, was knowledgeable and friendly and plenty of time was allowed for exploring. The farm visit was good and an excellent lunch could be purchased for a supplementary price. The tour highlight for me was to see the geyser erupt,
thrusting hot water many feet into the air. And if you missed this photo/video opportunity the first time, not to mind. It happens every few minutes.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience on this tour. Our guide, Ottar, was very entertaining, personable, and seem to care and enjoy his time with his guests. There were 11 people on this tour in a bus that holds probably around 12 comfortably. All the stops were very interesting, including the stop at the farm which showcased their greenhouse technology as well as their Icelandic horses. He was fun to see these horses up close. Overall, it was a very enjoyable day, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic tour!! Joe made the trip so easy to navigate by giving us information about each stop and recommendations for the best viewpoints. Timing was incredible! There was enough time for each stop to really experience the beauty of Iceland!
Michael_S, Apr 2026
Excellent tour, second time taking it! & reasonably priced for what it includes. Our tour guide Helgi was very knowledgable & accomodating!

We were very happy with the tour and the attention of Alex the driver, he heard every question and answered, he was very attent . He always tried to park the car very close by to any tourist visit.
We had a sunny weather so we had beautiful pictures of all the places. I recommend the premium Tour. The food and the freidhemar farm was excellent , we tried the tomatoes soup wirh bread and the duck salad and metting the horses a nice experience. At the farm they had coffe and tea ready for all the group. It was a nice gesture.

We had a wonderful day! A great opportunity to see many great sites in one tour. I have already recommended this tour to family and friends interested in traveling to Iceland.

The trip was fantastic and the guide was great. Really enjoyed out time and the trip was packed with information and Greta spots

The Guide ( Monica) was friendly and knowledgeable on all aspects of the tour and collected us on time.
The meal at Freidammer is not cheap though☹️.
The horses are fun to meet and the staff are knowledgeable too. They love their horses!
Plenty of time at each trip location, with good drop off back in Reyjavik.

Addi was such a great tour guide! He provided us with a lot of interesting facts about the sights we visited and was very friendly and funny. We did a quick four day trip and this tour helped us to experience the Golden Circle easily, plus visiting the Icelandic horse and tomato farm was an added bonus. It was probably the best tomato soup I’ve ever had.

Great tour of the Golden Circle with super informative guide. Fabulous itinerary and we were so glad to include the horse demonstration and lunch at the beautiful greenhouse restaurant.
The bus was slightly cold but outside temperature was -12

This was a wonderful tour of the key sites in Iceland that everyone should do at least once in Iceland! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny, giving all kinds of tidbits including what angles to get great photos.

We had a fantastic day trip seeing the Golden Circle - highlights were definitely the geysir, Gulfoss and Kerid Crater. Pick up was easy and our guide provided great information throughout about the Golden Circle locations and life in Iceland!
Some of our group were late to the bus and we really appreciated that our guide got us to the next stop before going back for latecomers so as to not impact the day for the whole group. We'd definitely recommend this trip from ReykJavik!

We booked this tour mainly for the farm because we did not think it wise to try driving in the winter in Iceland. And I’m so glad we went with a tour instead of driving. The farm was fun. We got almost an hour to eat lunch (at our own expense) at the tables the tour reserved for us. The horse show was great. I was surprised how many spots we hit for the rest of the tour. Definitely a great way to explore this part of Iceland.

The pickup is a bit drawn out and frustrating but after that hour we were in our small mini bus and ready to go. Advertised as small group there were only 9 on our trip including the 4 of us.
Sindri hit a good balance of talking - history, geographical information etc and leaving us to watch the scenery.
The stops were all well planned. Some seemed too short / long on paper, but in actual fact were all well balanced. A long leisurely lunch out of the crowds and enough time to see the geographical features we came for.
Mini bus was very comfortable - not your typical coach seats so felt luxurious.
We’d originally planned to self drive this but changed our minds due to heavy snow, which cleared. We were so glad we got the bus instead, really enjoyable.

Very informational learning about Icelandic land and historic happenings. Amazing visit to a farm where tomatoes taste like home grown and the horses were so fuzzy.
If you have motion sickness take stuff to prevent it.
Kayla_Y, Oct 2025
Excellent! The tour guide gave so much information and history while he took us around. Definitely worth it.
Michael_A, Oct 2025
Really fun and lots of places to see.
The bus was comfortable and clean.
The tour was thorough and educational.
Alison_D, Oct 2025
Overall wonderful experience, highlights were the national park and tomato farm with horses! Our guide was very quiet, he shared some on the way there but less and less throughout the day. I would have loved more information about what we were seeing.
Jason, Sept 2025
The guide talked continuously but I wished he give us some pause. At each attraction he dropped us at a spot where we walked minimally. I really appreciated that. I enjoyed Fridheimar Farm and horse show. Tomato soup for lunch was delicious and affordable.

It is a long day but there is plenty to see and many many stops along the way with plenty of opportunities for food, snack and restroom breaks. This makes the even more opportunities, of which there are seemingly countless, to see and experience the wonders of the Golden Circle as described (or really under described because they need to be witnessed and experienced to really be appreciated!) even more enjoyable. I've done many all day (8 hours plus) tours in several countries and this was probably the best.
Anne_A, Sept 2025
Was a great tour with a smaller group. Ample time at each place but maybe a bit too short for those who are slower in pace to see more things at each site. Tomato farm was such a nice surprise and great tour info while on the bus ride.
Barbara_L, Sept 2025
Great way to see many Iceland natural wonders. Glad we picked this golden circle experience because it included the tomato farm. Our driver/tour guide was great.
Rose_A, Sept 2025
Excellent tour. Beautiful sights. Stopping at the tomato farm was wonderful! Great lunch and chance to see the Icelandic horses up close and see them perform
Alyssa_Y, Sept 2025
Highly recommend this Golden Circle tour! This tour adds the tomato farm in comparison to most Golden Circle tours, which was definitely worth the stop! We had Sigfus, who was an incredible guide—had the best jokes and full of information about Iceland.
Cindy_F, Sept 2025
Our tour guide, Siegie , was so knowledgable and shared fun stories and answered any questions! Even tho we had road detours we got to see more countryside and didnt miss anything on original tour. The tomato garden was a great tour as was lunch of tomato soup and to my surprise gluten free fresh baked bread! The waterfalls amazing! Viator was easy to use and very thorough.
harveyc_s, Aug 2025
Great education from guide along the way and at each stop especially the horse farm. Bus driver/guide was very good; he was not a true experienced tour guide. How much would we have learned? We paid for a pro but didn’t get one!
Lori_L, Aug 2025
Carrot top was a blast. Very funny, very considerate of restroom breaks and primarily retired folks. She gave us extra attention in regard to our next day’s journey.
PaigeKerr, Aug 2025
Great tour, hit all the hot spots, horses and tomato farm made it a little more unique. Joseph was a great guide. Chill and handled some disgruntled guests well. Only reason for 4 stars is that the bus was very uncomfortable. Tiny and seats very small.
