Explore Heimaey
Ebbi is a lifelong resident of Heimaey and regaled us with interesting stories about his town. In just a short amount of time we covered all the important sites of the area. Besides sharing many interesting facts, he was also quite amusing. It’s a very well-run tour.

Amazing, this Golden...
Amazing, this Golden Circle adventure was an absolute dream! Walking directly between the tectonic plates at Thingvellir was surreal. Watching the Strokkur geyser erupt into the sky and feeling the raw, thundering power of Gullfoss waterfall was breathtaking. The landscapes felt otherworldly.

It is an amazing tour of...
It is an amazing tour of the most beautiful sights in Iceland. Love the ability to spend enough time at each destination to do some hiking and had the option to choose how much you would like to do at each destination. Capping it off with Sky Lagoon was just the right touch for an active day.

Golden Circle a Golden Day
Al (“just call me Al” because real Icelandic name was unpronounceable for we amateurs!) was a terrific driver/guide. Shared his vast knowledge and wit. We had the perfect amount of time at each stop on the Golden Circle route. He kept us well-informed about the timings at every stop. Pickups were right on time and the tour ended on time, just as promised. Al made the tour truly memorable and a great day!

I had a nice tour...
I had a nice tour overall, though there weren’t as many whale sightings as I had hoped. I really enjoyed the RIB boat—it made the experience exciting. We did see dolphins, and we got fairly close to Puffin Island, although visibility from my side wasn’t great.
Wildlife tours can be a bit of a dice roll in terms of what you’ll see, but the experience was still worthwhile. The staff and guides were professional, friendly, and informative throughout.

Got great pics of lava tunnels!
We decided to do this tour end of May in lieu of lava show - great decision! Pick up was on time at bus stop #17 Maritime Museum and we transferred to another bus at the bus station. Tour guide was excellent and had so many interesting facts about lava and lava tunnels. Wear hiking boots with good traction because of metal stairs and slippery, rocky paths. They provide a helmet with head lamp for safety. Highly recommend!

The BEST West Coast Tour
I booked this tour last minute and I am so glad I did! Maria, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and informative when it came to Icelandic history & folklore as well as the wildlife and geography of the areas we stopped at. If you are debating on whether or not to book it, you will miss out if you don’t!

Best Tour Ever

What an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, this tour captured the natural beauty and wonder of Iceland in the most incredible way.
Watching the geysers erupt was absolutely mesmerizing—seeing the power of nature up close is something you can’t fully appreciate until you’re standing there in the moment. Each burst felt like a reminder of how alive the earth truly is.
The visit to Kerið Crater was just as breathtaking. The vivid contrast between the red volcanic rock and the deep blue water made it feel almost unreal—like stepping into a postcard.
And to top it all off, relaxing in a hot springs lagoon was pure bliss. Soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters while surrounded by stunning landscapes was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.
This tour was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. If you’re visiting Iceland, this is an absolute must-do! Symom& Jesica were AMAZING.

A Golden Day from start to finish
Your only concern is getting to the BSI bus terminal.
You get there, your work is done. Reykjavik Excursions is a well oiled machine. Keep your eye on the timetable for your scheduled bus to the Golden Circle and don't forget your bus number.
The drive out to Thingvellir and back from Gulfoss are the longest legs of the trip. Plan accordingly.
Those seven hours go by quicker than you think, so savor every minute of them.

Great experience. Highly recommend
Lagoon experience was amazing.
Bius Tickets - we and the transport staff were however unclear where to get paper/device tickets transferred but bus staff and lagoon staff proved helpful. It was unclear what the correct bus company was, even with barcode in hand. Some improved instructions on the confirmation would be useful but regardless, of the hiccup, staff were lovely and very helpful, it was an amazing experience once we got there. It would have only been better if the bus operators weren’t confused by whose bus we should be on. The confirmation didn’t state the bus company and provide the correct references. Both bus drivers were very confused. Paperwork info needs broadening to include bus company details in case of issue. So please check with the operator before you leave and get written confirmation details . We wasted a good half an hour - 15 mins both ends, with people not knowing if we were there customers. This meant we kept getting moved from one bus to another by drivers. It was slightly embarrassing.

Anna! and Gregor
I’ve taking a lot of tours and Anna was absolutely at the top for the experience she provided. Friendly, funny, amazing story telling, patient and easy to connect with immediately which is impressive for such a big group. Our driver Gregor drove us around safely and kept the bus comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this Golden Circle experience. I wish I could have Anna guide us around the entire country!

10/10 recommend!
I had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Al, was incredibly friendly and informative. We were able to stop at a lot of awesome places, and I feel like we had a good amount of time at each one. With how far away some of the destinations are, I was worried bathroom breaks would be limited, but there were plenty of opportunities for this (in addition to opportunities to get lunch/snacks/drinks). I had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this tour!
