Hidden Gems - BEST Bermuda Tour!

Dale was amazing. He has a wonderful energy and we felt very taken care of considering sometimes the terrain got a little rough. Definitely bring grippy shoes and water shoes are very helpful considering all of the coral about. Dale was full of amazing facts and information about Bermuda, life on the islands for real and the many changing faces of Bermuda. Also, we had a wonderful crew of passengers from all over New York and the conversations were lively and entertaining with Dale flowing right in. Of course the tour itself is spectacular. We had done the same tour 11 years ago, and made a large effort to repeat the tour because it was so great and we had forgotten some parts. Once again we trekked through preserves and jumped into the cool deep waters of a cave, jumped off of a cliff, and swam with the fishes on beautiful Cooper’s Island Nature Preserve.

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I was disappointed in the snorkeling because there were too many boats in the location where we stopped and the coral was all bleached and pretty much dead. I saw only one fish in 1-1/2 hours. There were other options like paddleboarding, but the snorkeling was disappointing for what we paid for the tour.

Samuel was an outstanding driver and tour guide. He was funny, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable, and he kept everyone engaged throughout the entire tour. His enthusiasm made the experience both entertaining and informative. The tour itself was an excellent introduction to the island, blending its history, culture, and current events in a way that gave us a much deeper appreciation for Bermuda. Our favorite excursion!!!

This was the highlight of our Bermuda trip! We had 5 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 9-15. Our first stop was cliff jumping. It was amazing. After that we went to a cove for some swimming, snorkeling, SUP, and more cliff jumping. I’m not sure who had more fun, the adults or the kids. Memories to last a lifetime for sure.

This was a perfect sunset cruise. We booked this sunset catamaran with kids and they loved it! There were two cruise ships in port that evening and my family was on one of them. We watched two other sunset catamarans that were jammed packed with people take off. We were glad that Restless Native was not one of them. It was comfy and perfect amount of people. I can’t recall exact amount but it was small around the 30 mark. There was plenty of room to walk around and you weren’t on top of one another. The fact the sunset was picture perfect helped, but even it wasn’t, it would have still been a great catamaran sailing. The live musician was also great! He did an amazing job with his acoustic guitar and made the experience that much better.

I booked the glass-bottom boat tour online very last minute and the IRL customer service at the wharf was efficient and helpful. The excursion is exactly as described: Vixen shipwreck, coral reef and sea grass biomes, with active commentary on the beautiful shoreline (and sea turtles!) on the way, and a Rum Swizzle if you want it (from a jug, LOL, which I loved).

Captain Kirk’s Charters led the tour and the two guys running it were top notch and personable. I’m bad with names but I think Jesse was giving us some background on the island and fish and Bermuda Triangle lore as we rode out to our shipwrecks. Once there we were cut loose to snorkel the sites and enjoy the fish as they threw in some food to attract tons of parrotfish and sergeant majors. Definitely a worthwhile time with the kids and you see a lot more than what is around the crowded beaches on a cruise ship day in port

GAVY and Amiri Rock the boat!

This is an informative glass bottom boat tour, you get basic snorkeling experience (don’t touch the coral!) and a fine rum swizzle after you’re done! You can jump off the top side of the boat,too! The guys have a good sense of humor, are good with small children and make you feel appreciated while providing a bit of history about the flora and fauna of the island!

Our cruise ship arrived late in the day so they changed up the itinerary so we could have some shopping time. Our driver (Kevin) was amazing with a wealth of knowledge about the island. Ours was a 5 hour tour as it was too late for the ferry so Kevin drove us all back to the ships. Great tour!!
