Bermuda Review We had such a wonderful time on the Rising Son excursion during our cruise stop in Bermuda. We were traveling with our two younger children (5 and 6.5) and the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive to their needs, which made the experience so enjoyable and stress-free. Everything was well organized, fun, and memorable - Max had great facts about Bermuda, while maintaining safety throughout the trip, and the captain took us to a perfect spot to paddle board, swim and check out a little beach. And Pat of course was a great deckhand who poured the best swizzles!! We would absolutely recommend this excursion to other families (with or without kids) visiting Bermuda!

We have some challenges with sea sickness and this cruise was smooth and not a problem at all. It's not only fun but educational! We learned a great deal about Bermudas water, eco system and even local culture. The boat had a clean bathroom and even a little bar. Lot's of beautiful photo opportunities during the trip! Great time had by all ages. The crew was really attentive and friendly.

If you love being on the water and sunsets this one ticks all the boxes. Friendly crew, the vessel needed engine maintenance but it didn't affect the experience. The crew could use a step ladder on vessel as we disembarked we needed to make a jump onto the shore. Older filks hd trouble.

Dale was amazing.  He has a wonderful energy and we felt very taken care of considering sometimes the terrain got a little rough.  Definitely bring grippy shoes and water shoes are very helpful considering all of the coral about.  Dale was full of amazing facts and information about Bermuda, life on the islands for real and the many changing faces of Bermuda.  Also, we had a wonderful crew of passengers from all over New York and the conversations were lively and entertaining with Dale flowing right in.  Of course the tour itself is spectacular.  We had done the same tour 11 years ago, and made a large effort to repeat the tour because it was so great and we had forgotten some parts. Once again we trekked through preserves and jumped into the cool deep waters of a cave, jumped off of a cliff, and swam with the fishes on beautiful Cooper’s Island Nature Preserve.

This tour was fantastic! Juanita shared so much information about Bermuda and she was very friendly. We enjoyed our time on the bus listening to Juanita share information about the island and taking in the amazing views just as much as we did enjoyed doing the tour activities! The caves were gorgeous, horseshoe bay beach was busy but beautiful. And we also enjoyed doing some shopping and grabbing a bite to eat in Hamilton. I definitely recommend doing this tour on your visit to Bermuda!

This is a great way to see the entire island and get full details of many historical locations, unesco sites, and several beaches. The stops are appropriately quick to take photos and get an idea of the area. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and rum swizzles when you stop near the Whitehorse restaurant. The trip really was made amazing by our tour guide Wornell. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and had the energy to keep this tour upbeat and fun. This tour helps you decide what other excursions might be right for you or scope out a beach that is best for you.

This was an absolutely fantastic experience and one of the highlights of my time in Bermuda. Andre was truly exceptional. He was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, a true historian of the island. He shared so much about Bermuda’s culture, history, politics, local customs, tourism, and even some insider gossip and hidden gems. It felt like getting a complete and authentic understanding of the island from a passionate local expert. I genuinely could not have asked for a better guide or a more enriching tour. The group was small and intimate, with about 14 people on a comfortable bus. We made several scenic stops for photos, and Andre did a great job pacing the tour. It is important Bermuda’s roads are quite narrow and winding, just something to be aware of if you are prone to motion sensitivity. One quick note for future travelers: the meeting location is right at the beginning of the cruise ship pier, not a half-mile walk all the way down at the end. I was not on a cruise ship and was staying locally on the island. I took the first ferry from Hamilton, which was a quick and easy 20-minute ride, and it worked perfectly with the tour timing. Overall, I learned so much from this experience and felt like I left with a deep understanding of Bermuda. I would absolutely do this tour again and plan to book with Andre the next time I visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comprehensive and memorable island tour!
