Boat ride to the location, launch from a quiet beautiful beach. Couple of informative stops with info about the islands ecology systems. Really fun and enjoyable. Is a kayaking trip though so strenuous activity. Time to enjoy a swim at the end on a beautiful beach. Had a great time with my 16 year old daughter.

Wonderful time with Captain Tony and Jamie! We learned some interesting things about Bermuda and enjoyed the beautiful views on the water.

  • Take a scenic sightseeing cruise as you travel to the kayaking site
  • Escape the crowded beaches and visit places only accessible by water
  • Stay active while on vacation with this kayaking experience

Very nice!

It's nice, slow, short kayaking in a beautiful area of the island. Double Kayaks, very easy, lovely birds and coral. Especially beautiful the limestone formations all along the shore

Bermudan eco kayak

Kayaking was nice. The tour guides were wonderful, but we did not go where they said they were going to go and we were given an option of being dropped off elsewhere on website and when we got there, they said no, they would only bring us back to the dock.

Capt Tony, the crew, and the fast boat are amazing

If you are coming to dockyard on a cruise this is a perfect activity. The pick up location is a 5 minute walk from either dock. Very easy to find. Capt Tony and his crew were great. They gave us a little Bermuda history, made sure we were safe in the kayaks, and gave us time to swim. From the dock it is about 20-25 min to a secluded beach area. You enter the water from the beach and kayak for 2 hours with several stops. The crew makes sure you have water available. At the end they give you 30 min to swim at a nice sandy beach. The tour ends with a different route back to dockyard. This was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend. This tour is fun and worth the money.

Great kayaking tour. They take you out past the Dockyard into this beautiful little secluded bay. Captain Tony is the best!

Fun activity in Bermuda. Boat ride to and from the kayaks was 25 min one way. Wish more time spent in kayak. Guided provided some info about Bermuda and this added to the session

Great tour in a beautiful location. The tour guides told us about the history and wildlife on the island. Jaime, and the rest of the crew did a great job showing us around, providing instructions, and looking out for the kayakers on tour.

Lovely day

Really enjoyed the trip. We loved the boat ride to and from the kayaks - a chance to see the colourful island houses. The kayaking was great, particularly the latter part where the choppier waters made it more exciting. Great to see Somerset bridge. Would have been nice to have had the chance to explore without the guides for the last 30 mins instead of staying on the beach (felt time wasting for 30 mins on beach) , and a rum swizzle to end the day would have been nice instead of water as the complimentary drink. Other than that- a great day.

Fun experience and not too difficult even though it is sea kayaking it’s in very calm protected water.

A must do!

Loved being on the water and learning the history of beautiful Bermuda. It was a great kayak excursion. I definitely recommend seeing some of the country this way!

WE WILL NEVER USE VIATOR AGAIN

Richard_W, Aug 2024
We were unable to make this tour because we could not get a bus to the tour site. The tour was unfortunately scheduled on the date of a major holiday in Bermuda and we were not advised by Viator of this at the time of the booking. The buses were running on a reduced schedule which made it impossible for us tot get to the tour in time. We advised Viator of our problem at that time and subsequently requested a refund which Viator denied. WE WILL NEVER USE VIATOR AGAIN

Fun and informative

Kati_B, Jul 2024
The boat ride to where we start kayaking was really fun! The scenery was beautiful and we could not have asked for better Weather! Kayaking overall was nice, the two stops that we make for educational purposes were fine. The only negative thing for us was the dynamic between the captain and his mate, seemed not on the same page, and you could feel that. Otherwise, a good way to experience and learn about Bermuda ecosystem while having fun on the water and getting to see turtles and parrot fish.

Wonderful outing, great guides and even got a little beach time!

Cheree_B, Jun 2024
It was a little chilly as it rained lightly on us but out of anyone’s control. Our tour guides Aaron and Kera

Had a good time on the kayak tour

Had a good time! The boat ride to the kayak site was great. Tour was informative, and it was a smaller afternoon group which was nicer. Must do!

Fun Private-feeling excursion

Hank_M, May 2024
Dylan and his crew were informative and easygoing. Kayak tour offered convenient transport from the cruise port. Appreciated hearing about Bermuda’s natural history, and loved having some beach time for snorkeling (my own equipment) at the end of the tour.

Great experience.

Vladislav_S, May 2024
Well organized. Knowledgeable guide and helpful team made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Boat and kayaks were well maintained. Access to bathroom provided. Easy meetup location next to cruise ship and affortably priced excursion made this a great experience. Thank you.

Beautiful clear water

kelly_b, Jan 2024
Beautiful kayaking! You make two or three stops along the way, and the guide tells you some history of the island, about the flora / fauna etc. At the end of the tour, you have time to swim at the final beach which is large and absolutely gorgeous. Would go again! If I could suggest any changes to the tour, skip the first beach landing. It’s too small of an area for as many kayaks. Other than that it was a lovely tour.

Fun tour, learning experience, and great exercise.

The trip was wonderful, lots of information on the ecology and history of Bermuda provided from a lifelong resident. Wonderful area to kayak in, beautiful scenery and fun getting to the site.

Fun, informative, and good exercise!

Laurie_G, Aug 2023
We traveled to Bermuda via cruise ship and booked this excursion through Viator for the morning of our last day on the island. We left the Dockyard at 9 and returned around 12:30. Tony, the captain, was funny and knowledgeable. He said his boat was the fastest and it was hilarious when he opened the throttle which caused a massive amount of sea spray onto the boat! Everyone got soaked! Tony would slow down from time to time to point out interesting facts about the island. When we got to the cove where we would begin our kayak adventure we had a short walk to the beach. There was a shed where we could store our belongings and get paddles, life jackets, and bottled water. Tony gave all of us a short lesson on how to paddle and steer the kayaks and then we were off. We paddled to a small beach where we got out of our kayaks and Tony told us about the plants, animals, and insects on the island. After getting back in our kayaks we paddled to another area where we learned about the limestone rocks which are prevalent throughout the island. After this stop we followed Tony and his assistant and paddled our way around islands and along shorelines until we returned to where we started. Once we returned all our equipment we enjoyed ourselves for a period of free swim time. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that they didn’t show us how to adjust the seat position on the kayaks. My husband and son are tall and would have been more comfortable if their seats in the back could have been adjusted to allow their legs to stretch out more. Other than that this excursion was a lot of fun and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get some exercise while learning about the history and ecosystems of the island.

Okay

Rikki_D, Aug 2023
Bermuda is beautiful and you can’t go wrong kayaking in the ocean, however, our tour guide did not have much personality and it felt rushed. You will learn about the eco system of Bermuda. You will likely get soaked in the boat ride to the location so make sure you have a dry bag for your towel and belongings.

Interesting kayaking tour at several spots. Very good.

Jeanette_E, Jun 2023
I enjoyed the information the very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide shared. It was enriching to stop at different spots during the tour with more information added. I couldn't have asked for more. The boat was comfortable and safe and on time right near the cruise ship.

Wonderful informative Eco Tour

Wesley_R, May 2023
Tony and Aaron were spectacular. They were attentive and knowledgeable. We’ve been coming to the island for over 40 years and Tony shared history of the island, it’s flora and fauna that we never knew. It was a great experience and we will definitely be coming back next year.

Highlight of my vacations in Bermuda

Scenery and kayaking along the coast accompanied by tour guide’s shared knowledge of local ecosystem.

Tour guides Jade, Allie, and Jono were fantastic! They told some great historical stories while we rode out to the beach, and while we stopped at a few rest points along the trip. Would give this tour more than 5 stars if I could!
